After dining at PF Chang in Austin, we decided to try the one at the Summit in Birmingham, AL. Arriving at 12:45 we waited quite awhile at the hostess stand, and eventually were seated. I knew Kung Pao Chicken was what I wanted - those large chunks of chicken and flavorful sauce with green onions and a sprinkling of peanuts. We also ordered crispy honey shrimp, which was good.

First reaction is the king pao was not hot, warm at best… first bite - overpoweringly salty all I tasted was salt. Disappointing - then to add to it, the brown rice was also not hot or warm… and tasted old.

I limped through this meal, paid and tipped well - but asked for a comment card hoping that they cared enough to amend the dish and keep comments local. No comment cards available. Server offered to get manager, both were unavailable. Sad because this dish will cost them customers…
and they didn’t even care. PF Changs - we will not be back… and this review is now out on the web - shame on you for not giving a customer the opportunity to tell you why in person.

We hadn't been in a few years. We were disappointed.the food wasn't as good as it used to be. It's still OK, just not the quality it used to be. Service was slow, getting the servers attention was tough and we had to repeat our order several times.

Extremely disappointing. I’ve been a loyal patron of PF Chang’s for over 20 years and deem it my favorite restaurant. I don’t live close to Birmingham anymore, but this location specifically I’ve been to at least 20 times in the past. I just came back for the first time in 2 years and it was horrible. I placed an order for pick up at 6:30 and it wasn’t ready until 7:10. I was offered no water while waiting or anything for the inconvenience. Once we dug into our food, the experience got worse. I found my beloved crispy green beans recipe had been altered to feature a terrible batter with no seasoning, and the portion had been cut at least in half. They were also cold, which makes no sense given the long wait. My husband’s favorite, the lettuce wraps, were also a very small portion despite ordering the large version. The lo mein was flavorless and quite frankly, disgusting. My husband’s fried rice was well below par as well. I have never been more let down by a PF Chang’s location. This one needs some work.

One of my favorite places. Truly enjoyed the lettuce wraps. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice and observant. Made sure we were quite satisfied.

I had a small issue during my visit to PF Chang’s, but the server “Promise” and trainee “ Emily “ both were great and the manager Chris, went above and beyond to make things right. Their professionalism and quick response turned the whole experience around, and I truly appreciate it.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. From the appetizers to the main course, everything hit the spot.

Thank you, thank you again to Chris and the team for taking great care of me. I’ll definitely be back!

I was fooled by the location! This is Panda Express on a big black plate. Why are the prices through the roof? The food comes in a bag that they deep fried and put sauce on it, and charge you 19.98!! The portions are small, soups tasted like burnt broth, just Horrible. 1st time last time for sure. My money is too valuable to spend here. I should have went to a Buffet. What was I thinking???

Had a reservation at 6:15 pm that I made at 5:30 pm online. We showed up 10 minutes early and waited patiently after checking in. After waiting until 6:45, I asked what was wrong and was told that since it was so packed and we had made the reservation within an hour of the scheduled time, we had to wait behind all the people who were walk-ins. So what's the point of even using Open Table in a situation like that? Have eaten here a lot and food is great but this was disconcerting.

We went for my daughter's 16th bday because she loves their food and the sparkler on the desserts. Let's start by entering the restaurant, walk into foyer and the mildew smell hits you like a slap to the face. Then your feet stick to the carpet. We were sat immediately which was nice. After being sat we noticed the kitchen was being bombarded with bubbles, assuming there was an issue with the dishwasher, but bubbles were landing all over the food that sat on the counter. My daughter ordered some type of lemonade which they were out of. We waited over 45 minutes for soup and salads our server was MIA the whole time. Once the soup and salads arrive soup was cold. Plus food arrived within 5 minutes of receiving salad and soup. Sesame seed chicken tasted burned and lo main had pieces of grizzle inside. Honey chicken, Mongolian beef were good. Beef and broccoli was good but broccoli had extremely large pieces so it was hard to eat without a knife. Which we were never brought. Once dinner was over my daughter tried to order banana foster egg rolls, which they were of of too. All in all disappointing dinner.

Great experience as always! P F Chang is always a great play for Chinese food and the new options on the menu were awesome!

I made reservations for lunch and asked for a quiet booth! It was ready when we arrived away from the crowds to my surprise! All the hostesses were very friendly and helpful to us! We immediately had a server as soon as we sat down! We ordered a fresh piping pot of black tea!! Hit the spot since it was a dreary rainy day! Ordered an appetizer for the table of 4! Wrapped letters leaves and wontons! Everyone loved! My husband got the wontons soup enough for 2 but they have a cup size also! We ordered the Orange Chicken and another dish that had noodles, shrimp and chicken and loved both! We took home food' W A great place to relax with friends and business partners! Very prompt service and clean restaurant and restrooms! Can't wait to go back and dine outside when it's warmer!!e loved the brown fried rice also!

It had been a long time since last visit. Food had changed significantly, especially lettuce wraps. They used to be one of the top features but this time not very good - not iceberg and filling bland. Entrees were not tasty.

My lady friend got the crispy honey shrimp and I got the lettuce wraps. Both were delicious and the service was excellent!

The food is different than it was years ago. It tasted strange like very unhealthy oils. The shrimp dish so had was tough and over cooked. Was supposed to be spicy had no spice. The wontons were good but the sauce again- had a chemical smell to it. Way too much garlic. I felt sick in my stomach until the next day with gas and pain from the chemicals in the goods. Yuck!!
