This place could have potential, but unfortunately it’s very close to the freeway, which feels a little sketchy. The bigger issue is the owner—he’s overly involved in the worst way. The second he sees you, he sizes you up, stares you down, and judges you. It’s extremely off-putting and disappointing, especially since Salt Lake really needs new, welcoming spots. Instead, this one is overshadowed by an owner who comes across as fake and judgmental (even down to the plastic necklace he flaunts). Really sad to see. He was not it.

I went to Plum Bar for the first time last night & watched Sherri Brown perform. She and her background singers have wonderful voices & I knew the words to every song they sang. I had a great time & will be back.
It's a cool vibe, But damn the band don't play until 12am lol . I guess I'm not a night Owl anymore if I'm ever in Birmingham again I would go back. #Nashville

Hell of a place to kick back at. They dont serve food but the food they served during the the alabama vs georgia game was on time too. Love the music and the atmoshpere. We went earlier and didnt have to pay to get in. Will be back soon.
