About Pogo Cocktail Bar

Pogo Cocktail Bar is a fabulous, elegant, and very cool new bar offering a speakeasy-style escape in downtown Birmingham, tucked beneath the Armour & Co. building. The atmosphere and vibe are awesome, amazing, cozy, and relaxed, with arched stone niches, velvet drapery, plush seating, and mood lighting that balances intimacy with polished opulence.

Drinks are very good, tasty, and great, though prices are very high, in-line with typical Birmingham bar expectations. The service receives mixed reviews. Some staff are very friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and committed to providing a welcoming experience, while at other times service can be a bit slow and not very attentive, requiring guests to seek out their server. The space is very nice and not very busy on some evenings, allowing for a choice of seats. Overall, it is an elegant and comfy speakeasy for a good night out.
