I was visiting Birmingham for work and saw this place has been around for forever so I decided to give it a try. Service was awesome the lady at the counter was very friendly even though she was slammed it was a lunch rush. Food was pretty good, only complaint was the BLT said it has a hunk of bacon, well I guess I just expected more with verbiage like that on the menu. I would and will visit them again prices are fair and the food was good.Parking: They have a tiny parking lot. I ended up street parking up the road by a church. It was a maybe 5 minute walk to pop's.

I ate at his spot today and it was really good. It is right around the corner from my office so a nice little walk. Upon entering, the outside looked clean. As I entered, very small place and several people inside eating. The young lady who took my order was very polite and really good at discussing the menu. I ended up with the Pop's Hot Beef (Special) Dog with a bag of chips and a drink. Let me tell you, it was delicious! The place was very clean and there were no COVID precautions. The environment was very nice and friendly.
