What a fantastic place! Delicious fresh fish, plus options for preparations & toppings. The spinach salad was a great start. I had the redfish with shrimp ragtime: rich and flavorful. Grilled veggies were a perfect compliment. Hubby had AmberJack with lime & cilantro- YUM. We shared a key lime pie (like we had room but it was sooo good). Several beers on tap; service was excellent. I’d like to come back and try other dishes if we are in the area again!

One of my favorite places. We eat here 1-2 times a week, at least. Staff is friendly and fast. Lots of regulars. It is small so get here between 5:30-6 if you don't want a small wait. The atmosphere is amazing and chill. Highly recommend! Food is extremely fresh.

Hadn't been here in 4 yrs (the older bartender who flirted w/ my ex and got us in a fight was still there all these yrs later). Luckily, the guy and I are no longer so no hard feelings. That being said, the service was decent and the food was MUCH better than I remember it in 2019 (got a pimento bacon avocado burger and sweet potato fries). The burger was a little dry but the meal as a whole was pretty spot-on. The fries were absolutely delicious in every bite. They were equal parts salty and sweet and weren't too dry or greasy. The bread pudding was still refrigerated since I took it to go, so I'm sure it would've been superb if I'd had it heated up more evenly at the restaurant. It was sort of dry being nuked in the microwave but I probably should've put it, covered, in the oven on 250 or something instead. The whiskey sauce was okay, but it was heavy-handed on the whiskey. Instead of tasting the essence of it, it was like taking a shot with a slight sugary aftertaste. The parking is always a hassle getting in and out of, but provided the food stays the same caliber, I'll try to make it back in another 4 yrs.

One of my favorite places. Service is always good and they have the best wings in town. Burgers are also fantastic. The tuna salad sandwich is really good as well when I want something different. And the French fries are very good as well. Most places now I usually don't finish my fries, but Ragtime does the crispy crinkle fries which are my favorite.

Have been by this place many times. It seems to remain steady busy. We finally decided to try it out. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated. You will immediately notice upon entry that the place is very dimly lit. Kind of gloomy atmosphere in that sense. Big screen tvs in each room playing sports channels. Quick service by a friendly waiter was received. My husband ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. I ordered a grilled shrimp Caesar salad. The burger was big but not very flavourful. The sweet potato fries looked long and well cooked but also lacking in flavor. My salad came with large grilled shrimp #6 to be exact. The were very good. The salad used feta cheese in place of parmesan which brought really good flavor with the added mandarins. What a good combo but needed a few more shrimp and a few more mandarins. So we gave the food only the stars. Expected better for the price and location. But service was awesome.

This is a hidden gem of Hoover. Found it just because we happened to be close and really loved it. I had the fried oyster Po'boy and every part of it was solid. The bread was crispy on the list side but soft on the inside as God intended. The creamy Cajun horseradish was the star. So Good!! Also got the seafood gumbo and it was extremely flavorful. Coke slaw was perfect and some of the best I've had in recent memory. I will be back if I am ever in the area!
