Great food and service. Our server, Alyssa was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. So friendly and attentive. The brussel sprouts were so crispy. Conecha corn dogs were amazing. The burger was crispy on the outside but still juicy. A++++

NOT A SPORTS BAR.
I think this place is having an identity crisis. Literally "Sports bar and grill" in the brick but we show up for Thursday night football and they have a life symphony event, which is streamed to all TV's.
Lovely event, and very well attended so good for them. But their website says it's a sports bar. Not a "live music venue with TV's" .
Very tasty along with very quick serivce

Great place! I have been here on many occasions for dinner, live entertainment, or happy hour drinks. Recently we had our rehearsal dinner at The Fennec and they did a fantastic job! The food and staff were great. Would highly recommend The Fennec.
This place rocks! Live music, great cocktails, and a massive whiskey selection! Highly recommend the short rib and the pork chop!
If you’re looking for great food, good music and amazing drinks. This is your spot! The atmosphere is immaculate and the vibes are bar none.
We have ventured to many restaurants in the Birmingham area over the past years. We recently found this one while attending a play at Red Mountain Theater. We will definitely be back! We have both said that this is by far our favorite restaurant in Birmingham. Now. It needs to quickly move up the list as one of the top restaurants in Birmingham. The food was incredible. Cocktails were great and with music playing made it a perfect atmosphere.
Was recommended I should check out this place called The Fennec so well I did. I have never heard of or seen this place until I was told about it and now I'm like why didn't I know about it sooner?! The atmosphere itself was awesome with a nice bar, live music, nice looking stage and dance floor and yes a disco ball! Great place to hang out and eat good food. The staff was top notch our waiter was so great. We had to wait almost an hour for our food only because the kitchen was backed up with a huge parties order. We didn't complain once we totally understood. But this waiter was on his A game! Even though we waited nearly an hour for food we were not disappointed the food came out hot and fresh everyone at their table loved the food they got but you know me I order neutral unless I'm recommended something in particular. The burger I got was legit cooked perfectly I ordered it medium well and that's what I got a hot juicy burger. However there was literally no seasoning on it salt and pepper would have took this thing sky high. Wasn't a huge fan of the kaiser roll but that's just me being picky at that point I personally just wouldn't use that but it was toasted perfectly so no complaints. I will say I ordered bacon on the burger and only recieved one strip of bacon on it and I found that to be very odd. HOWEVER the burger gets a solid 7.9 out of 10 from me. Having some salt and pepper would have had it in very high 8's The fries were fries crispy salty good to go no complaints. The wings I personally think $15 for 6 wings is a bit much but they do give you 6 jumbo sized wings with fries and ranch. I ordered the hot honey wings. These wings were so hot when they came out and had a nice spicy and sweetness I just loved. But once again they clearly weren't seasoned. Some seasoning salt would have set these bad boys off! Wings get an 8 out of 10 from me. Had they been seasoned definitely a 10. We also got the Churros for dessert these things were so good it came with 4 churros covered in cinnamon sugar, chocolate drizzle, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream, oh and on the inside of the churro it was filled with caramel. All that and it still wasn't overly sweet. Definitely 10 out of 10! I highly recommend you go check this place out its well worth it. The portions a appropriate and you are getting what you pay for including live entertainment. I'm coming back to this place and I'm bringing more people with me. If you haven't been here please go check this place out!
I went to The Fennec with friends to see a concert. I’ve been to hundreds of venues all over the country, but never been to one that is managed like The Fennec. We decided to eat there before the show so we arrived at 6:00. The lady asked us if we had reservations. We told her we didn’t, but we had tickets for the show. If the website had said we needed reservations we would have made them. The lady couldn’t have been nicer though. She told us she would seat us in the lounge to eat. She told us she was getting off, but when we were finished eating to go back to the hostess desk to be seated. By the time we got our overcooked steaks, ate and got back to the desk the tables were already full. We asked a waiter about a table and he said they were all reserved. There was one table where two ladies were sitting that wasn’t reserved. He said they had just sat down there earlier and they didn’t even have tickets for the show. We stood there and waited on him to tell them it was a ticketed show. Another couple got to the table the same time we did, but we all shared the table. They had got there early too, and like us, they wound up in the same situation. By the time the main act started people were packed in like sardines. They played until 11:00. At 10:45 they came in and took out all of the tables and chairs. One security guard lifted our table over his head and carried it out. It’s just a matter of time until somebody bumps into him and somebody gets a table dropped on them. It was obvious they wanted the people who had come for the early show and dinner to leave before the show we had came to see was even over. At 11:00 we found ourselves in the middle of a disco floor. I’ve been to a lot of venues that had two shows, but they always allowed transition time in between to clear each show. As it is now it’s not fun and it’s not safe.

Had the best experience at the Fennec--great music, food, service!!!! I cannot wait to go back! My entire family was there celebrating a birthday and we cannot wait to make it an annual event.
My entire family of 14 met at The Fennec for a Christmas gathering. The food wasn't good and to top it off we parked right next door in the empty lot. When we went out to our cars to get the Christmas presents, our cars had been towed to a lot many blocks away! There was a very small sign saying No Parking, but it was only visible if you entered the lot another way. I am so disappointed that no one at The Fennec bothered to tell us not to park there. It cost $160 per vehicle to retrieve our cars. Thanks Fennec employees! Bad experience all the way around and none of us will ever eat there again!
