Really bland spaghetti. Sandwich was half the size it normally is but was the same price. No salt or pepper anywhere. Extremely disappointed in this restaurant.
Cute local restaurant 😍
Enjoyed our meal! Nice change from our usual places.
This restaurant is consistently excellent! Their staff is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean and very poor together. The food... The food is so fresh, clean and delicious 😋! You must try it!!!
Very enjoyable! I had the vegetable plate (choose 4 from sides). Corn cake, roasted carrots, succotash, macaroni and cheese. Delicious! Huge portions. Space is nice, service was a bit slow to get started (but we did arrive right at opening).
If you're looking for food that resembles a home cooked meal and walking distance from the Aloft hotel, then Real & Rosemary is a perfect choice. You can dine in or place an order for pickup on their website. I arrived around 530pm, and there were four guests dining inside and no wait. You place your order at the register, and your food is brought to your table along with silverware and a cloth napkin. All employees were friendly and the wait for the food wasn't very long.
I had the flounder cakes plate with macaroni and cheese and sweet potato wedges for $15.49.
The serving was generous, and the food was hot and delicious. I cleaned my plate! It was my first time having flounder cakes, and I enjoyed the flavor and preferred them over salmon cakes. It wasn't very fishy, and the seasoning was perfect. Macaroni was cheesy and and the potato wedges were savory. The restaurant also provides water for free.
It's a charming and cozy restaurant with seating available inside and outside. The food is tasty and reasonable.
Dinner and drinks were delicious, bring a jacket. It's cool inside. Or enjoy outdoor seating if available.

It's a very cute spot. I loved the decor. I ordered a BLT and it was cold. The tomatoes were burned and the fried okra was also cold and stale. The bacon was burned. The lemonade was awesome. We had to leave and go somewhere else and get food because what we paid for was not appetizing at all. We didn't complain because when we walked in, we weren't greeted, and all of the employees kept staring at us as if we shouldn't have been there. That was my first sign that I should have left. We went next door to Urban Cookhouse and it was amazing!!!

Great food and friendly staff! The atmosphere is cozy as well. Nice building but a bit small. Not enough parking but that’s Homewood in general

Worst meal in a long time. Had to take our kid to Arby’s because the spaghetti and meatballs were inedible.

It’s a very cute little place. It’s usually pretty quiet so it’s excellent if you’re like me and don’t love loud restaurants. The prices aren’t bad and they always have very good sides. I’ve always enjoyed it on the times I’ve been. The carrots and Mac and cheese are always a personal favorite of mine.
My main this last time was just OK. The meatballs were undercooked and my sauce was pretty watery but I didn’t want to complain because the server was so sweet and she was super busy with takeout orders. (It’s on me for not saying anything, I’m sure they would have fixed it but I just ate around it.)
I think in the future I would stick to salads and sandwiches. That’s definitely where their strengths lie. Salads have always been super fresh and their dressings are great. The Reuben I would 100% recommend. You could even just get 2-3 sides and have that as your meal. As long as you stick to what they’re good at you’ll have a fantastic time.

Randomly saw this location and decided to give it a try. The outside was super inviting with the decor. We were there at 430 on a Friday and it was dead. Which was concerning but we still gave it a try. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and beet salad. They did not disappoint.
We enjoyed the dishes a lot and will be back.
We also sat in the patio. Great little patio!

This place is a little pricey, but it was such a blessing on our road trip. We were able to have a nice sit down meal with the same time it takes to eat at Panera.
I am excited to stop by again next time I’m in town!

Excellent healthy options. Vegetable soup and the friend green tomatoes were delicious. Grille cheese on rye another good decision. The service was friendly and informative.
