First timers here eating crawdads fresh. We had your crawfish today at Oskar Blues Brewery (Brevard Taproom) 342 Mountain Industrial Dr, Brevard, NC 28712 and enjoyed the flavor but were disappointed by the size of crawdads and portion size 5lbs as it was not 5lbs worth on our plate. The guy next to us 5lb plate was much bigger and his crawdads were much much larger to where he looked over and noticed saying you go the small ones… made me feel jipped for $60.00 worth. Great flavor but feel I wasn’t given to same treatment of mud bugs others had!Why do you have small crawfish mixed in with your larger sizes??? Paid $10.95lb ???

Honestly I’m from Nola and my hardship moving to Alabama what not having any of the foods that felt like home. Red Mountain is the only crawfish in Alabama that I would enthusiastically eat!!
We order crawfish from Red Mountain every season & they never disappoint! We’ve boiled our own live crawfish and we’ve also purchased their fresh boiled crawfish. Both are amazing. Highly recommend the white trash seasoning they offer if you decide to boil your own!
