Excellent! Best whiting I have had in years! All food is cooked to order. Depending on which route you take, you could get stuck behind a train. It's worth the wait! Look under your bread before you ask for condiments.

I live in another city and haven't visited in a while. I didn't like the tartar sauce. I liked when it was made in house. I will ALWAYS miss Theresa.
Once a day I had one of the worst experiences of my life at River Fish Market. The order that I made today I called it in and gave them everything over the phone it was just a single order for one person the gentleman that I spoke to over the phone was kind of getting the order messed up he was repeating it and he kept repeating it wrong and it was just a really hard time when I got to the restaurant and went up to the window they I told him that I had called in the order they asked me to repeat the order again I told them that I wanted a whole catfish the large catfish plate combo. On the menu that I saw it stated that it was 1199 which included the large piece of fish hush puppies and fries I was okay with that. When they run up my order it came to $20.97 my sister took my card up to pay for it and when she came back I saw that it cost more than what they had originally told me when I asked him to explain I was explaining that the sides were extra that the 1199 was just for the large fish so I asked him how much the sides were they told me $3.99 I'm still trying to understand how they came to $20 I was very upset because I didn't get half of my order . When I got home and got ready to eat my fish it was harder than whip leather it was tough it was dried out it was just cold the fries were cold it was just horrible. I do not recommend anybody to this high-priced fish market you'll get better service at the fish market in downtown or Hoover. And the ladies that work the counter have the worst attitudes hollering and screaming at the customers that's not good customer service they really need to get a better staff they said that the owner's name is Wilson I don't know how true that is or not but he really needs to check his staff and check his establishment because it is getting bad.I will never go their again and will advise my friends not to order from their , especially if it not going to be hot.#checkyourticketprices#neednewstaff
