I enjoy the food, and the service and atmosphere is great, but there's one thing that bothers me about my visits. There always seems to be crust or food particles of some sort on the silverware or dishes we receive. As great as the food is, it becomes distracting when every visit is plagued by this occurring. Maybe we've just been unlucky compared to other guests. Other than that, the food is absolutely delicious.

Ignore the website - THERE IS NOTHING VEGAN! It was disappointing, we went there specifically because their website said they had vegan options. Food was decent but not spectacular. The staff were for the most part friendly, and the kitchen staff went out of their way to check ingredients for me and put something together, but we were (in my opinion) way overcharged. I asked if I could get vegetables instead of the egg that usually comes on the avocado toast, and was charged $5 for a _tiny_ portion. $17 is too much to charge for a single piece of toast with avocado mash on it. Other folks at the table did like the grits and the pig candy, though.

The food was amazing. The beignets were delish and so were the Gingerbread pancakes. My husband had the catfish and grits. Everything was so flavorful! I loved the crispness on the pancake edges and the candied cranberries just topped it off! Definitely worth the wait!!!! This will be in our holiday rotation.
