Been here 3 times. First time was the best experience. Last two times the service has absolutely sucked. I mean terrible servers and service.

Tyler C was so fabulous with our large group. He gave each of us special attention with our very specific orders. And in the end split our orders correctly! Amazing!

Super over-priced. The omelette was pretty small, even if very tasty. The biscuit thwt came with it was newrly half the size of the omelette. But the biscuit wasn't fully cooked and had rubbery/chewy taste to it. The grits were good, but nothing special.
And $11.25 for a pineapple mimosa? Absolutely outrageous. Most restaurants should be able to get away with a $5 or $6 regular mimosa. It should NOT be practically double the price because pineapple.

All in all $25 for a single person's meal, before tip. At that price, all the servers better be making at least the standard minimum wage before tips. And NOT that dumb $2.13 an hour BS.

Service was pretty quick. Along with the food coming the table pretty quick.

Ruby Sunshine is a vibrant, inviting restaurant in Birmingham that brings a bright, cheerful atmosphere and flavorful, New Orleans-inspired cuisine to the city. From the moment you walk in, the space feels lively and warm, with colorful décor, comfortable seating, and a friendly staff that immediately makes you feel welcome. It’s a great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner, whether you’re meeting friends, celebrating a special occasion, or just looking for a flavorful meal.

Decided to drop in for brunch before doing some shopping. Everyone was so nice but our service was slow. We didn't receive all our food and refills were few and far between. Our food arrived and it was another 10 mins until we received silverware to eat it with. The food over all was okay. The beignets were a huge let down. They were just fried biscuits and there was no marmalade. The biscuits themselves were dry. The home style potatoes were under cooked. The other food was just good enough to eat.

An empty parking lot at 10am on a Saturday should have been our sign. Slow service, empty drinks, no coffee refills. The food had the potential to be good but it was ice cold when it came out. The cheese was not even melted on the breakfast sandwich & gravy/eggs were cold for the gravy biscuit.
