Absolutely delicious food. I had the peppered steak with rice and gravy. Got a side of Mac and cheese and green beans. Reminded me so much of my father and grandmother’s cooking. The wife had chicken tenders with fries. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Service was quick and the facility was extremely clean. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.
The food here is definitely the ONLY reason I will be back. Its something about soul food. It always comes with a side of attitude...lol. This is NOT the place for you if you have anxiety cause you WILL get rushed through the line so you better KNOW what you want because if you dont that's where the attitude kicks in. In live out of town in a place that has zero soul food, when I was searching for places to eat in Birmingham during my work trip this caught my eye immediately.! Got two plates and when I tell you it’s just as good as I imagined. I can’t get home cooking like this at home. 10/10 recommend.! I’ll be back tomorrow 😂
