Stood in line for 25 minutes to order breakfast, only to be told when we finally got to the barista that while we were standing in line, the kitchen had closed 5 mins prior. You would think they would inform the 10 people standing in line for breakfast that they could no longer order breakfast. Or maybe post your kitchen hours online for people to be aware of. Will never come back here.

This used to be a daily stop when I worked here in Birmingham but throughout the years the quality of food, friendliness of staff, and overall upkeep of the establishment has declined so greatly I will not be coming back.

This Santos is located in Uptown, which is most convenient for me. I like how sunny the place is and the fact that there's plenty of parking around. I got a blackberry fresca and it was delicious, not too sweet but still very flavorful. It was also light and refreshing, ideal for the hot Summer months ahead. Since this location is attached to a hotel, you never know who you may meet in there. I chatted with a pilot for a few minutes then got some work done on my laptop. As a remote worker, this is a nice place to come since they have food, drinks, WiFi, and plenty of outlets!

Coffee quality is thin. The espresso had a grassy quality to the flavor. Have also come in at lunch time and they close their kitchen early before their actual closing time - so maybe call ahead to see if they're still serving food. I was disappointed. Decor inside is cozy and clean

My friend and I are doing a tour of all the coffee places in Birmingham and this was our first, it didn’t disappoint! The coffee was quite smooth and mellow while still being flavorful, but by far the highlight was the staff. They were all super nice and conversational which made the vibe cozy instead of pretentious. Great place to sit and chat!

Keeping this review as 1 star until they fix their pricing for cappuccinos. We’ve been in here 2 times over the past couple months, and the owners are still charging $4.85 for a small cappuccino, even when their board marks it as $3.85. And none of the employees even bat an eye or acknowledge the price difference unless you say anything, and won’t change the price. Might be something very small, but it really rubs me the wrong way. Not a fan of false advertising.
