Very cute coffee shop. The pastries looked phenomenal. The coffee was exceptionally good. Worth the stop. Everyone was really nice as well, which makes the first interaction of the day great.

I have visited Santos several times over the last few weeks. I am a big fan. The staff are kind and courteous, and the other patrons are friendly as well. The space is clean and has stand-up workspaces, which I greatly appreciate. I tried the Cafè Maya and enjoyed it, chocolate with a hint of spice, delicious. I will be returning.

The service is always great here even during a rush. If you like lighter roast espresso, this is the place for you. They also offer decaf espresso and it tastes just as good. The Hoover location is probably the best Santos location in all of the Birmingham area for its service and quality. The drive thru makes it one of the more convenient local coffee shops as well. If you’re looking for fall drinks the pumpkin spice is amazing and their holiday drinks are even better!

Decent experience! Great food and atmosphere! It’s a great place to hang out and work or connect with friends. I got a Fresca and a pumpkin muffin, both were fantastic.
Lots of seating, both soft seats and table seating. Great food options and drink options. Service was not good. Stood at register for almost 5 minutes beige anyone even acknowledged me being there. There were only two people on staff and it was not good.

Great atmosphere , you need to visit if you’re a coffee fanatic like me . The quality was outstanding 👍🏽
Great atmosphere, delicious food and tasty coffee. Staff is great, my bacon egg n cheese bagel was delicious. Great lounge area for patrons to do some quick work or catch up with friends. Love the decor, especially the vintage car mounted at the drive thru. Well done, Santos!

I have visited Santos a couple of times over the past few years, with my most recent visit on Sunday. Unfortunately, both my food and drink were disappointing.
I ordered an avocado toast and a medium latte. The latte had far too much milk foam, leaving the cup feeling half empty. This has been a persistent issue on each visit, regardless of who prepares the coffee. It really gives the impression that I’m not getting my money’s worth.
The avocado toast was also underwhelming. There wasn’t enough avocado, the bread was cold, and it came topped with a small piece of cheese, a large amount of arugula, and a few cherry tomatoes. It looked appealing because of the color combination and the box that came in. However, I was mainly eating bread. Box is very nice and appealing; however, I do not think it is the right choice for people who likes eat in the store. A plate would be nicer and easier to handle the food.
I believe management needs to address these recurring issues with both quality and consistency.

Best Privately Owned Coffee Shop, the customer service exceeds my expectations in every way. The coffee flavors are simple, yet unique, warming my heart with every sip. The cleanliness is excellent, that combined with the elegant yet professional scenery makes this the perfect place to discuss and carry out buisness matters. So, if a Santos is in your area, check it out. It's an experience you'll never forget.
Sincerely, Aidan B. Harrison
Great at first, but prices have really shot up, and not just on coffee...and now even the menu no longer lists prices, just a QR code. My fifth trip here in the past 2 years was my last.

I was trying to call the manager of the store to discuss finding hair in my sauce. But when I called, the voicemail automatically picked up saying the mailbox is full. I am highly disappointed because the food is delicious. However, finding hair in my sauce is disgusting.

I’ve never really been that big into coffee, I’d just grab one from time to time. That changed when I tried Santos Coffee. It was something else.
I had the pleasure of meeting Luciano, the manager, and we had a great conversation about the brand. He told me they have their own farms and that the family has been in the coffee business for five generations. That says a lot.
You can tell this isn’t just another shop buying coffee in bulk, it’s a family tradition that’s been running for years. And you simply can’t match the quality of sourcing straight from your own farm. That’s what made the difference for me.
Extra points for the pastries and the service. Keep it up, guys!
