The pork skins and pepper jelly pimento cheese were great. As always the pork and greens were a perfect 10. Great flavor with nice size portions. My friends from Detroit loved the food.

Small and bustling, this spot serves BBQ that feels straight from the heart. The pulled pork sandwich was smoky and juicy, and the chicken with white sauce had that tangy kick Alabama is known for. Portions are generous, and the vibe is lively and unpretentious.

Unassuming, quaint place but the food is anything but! Delicious smoked chicken and pork, giant stuffed potatoes, and amazing fluffy creamy banana pudding. If you're hungry and near Edgewood, you should absolutely get some of their delicious BBQ!

Visiting from Florida, we read this was the best Birmingham BBQ. You MUST get the Pimento Cheese and Pepper Jelly with freshly made pork rinds!

Tiny spot, big flavors. The pulled pork sandwich was smoky and tender, with just the right amount of tangy sauce. Mac & cheese on the side felt homemade, creamy and comforting. It’s casual, crowded, and absolutely worth squeezing in for a quick meal.

The pulled pork sandwich was smoky, juicy, and piled high — no need to drown it in sauce. Sides like mac & cheese taste homemade, creamy with a little crust on top. It’s a small, bustling spot, but that chaos kinda adds to the flavor.

I am a tour truck driver doing a show at the venue next-door to saw’s kitchen. This place is fabulous. I recommend pork and greens.

The pulled pork was smoky and tender, piled high on a soft bun, though the coleslaw leaned a little bland. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the casual, no-frills space made it an easy spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

I asked what Saw’s is known for and he pointed to the Pork and Greens. I’m generally not a fan of greens (I’m not from the south 😬) but I have to say with the cheese grits and the onion rings they were great. The pork was tender and flavorful. The food looked so good the woman next to me asked if she could take a picture 🤣.

The place was nearly packed so I was surprised how quickly my food came out. The staff were all great.
