I can’t remember the last time I saw a baloney sandwich on a menu, and was excited when I saw the Scenic Cafe had one. I wasn’t disappointed. Hand cut fried baloney with lettuce, tomato, and some mayo!!!!! Delicious!!!! I also bought a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich to take for lunch which went down too fast. The restaurant is small and quaint, with a few tables for seating. They have a selection of scones, turnovers, and other pastries, and a selection of drinks and candy as well. The coffee was great. Miss Shirley and Kendell were so kind and welcoming and Miss Chef (sorry I forgot your name) cooked with love. Can’t wait to return to Birmingham to stop by again.
