The food is fast and good. The people are friendly and genuinely happy to greet you. The owner works the grill just like his employees and enjoys it. It's the way fast food should be done.The prices are better than I expected. My breakfast was served faster and less expensive than I could have done it myself. It's been here forever, and I'm happy to have found it.

Rolled in to try their dogs, saw the hamburger come out so got it. Delicious!!! Went back the next day and got chili dogs which were also great. Great people work there who make sure you are takin care of and treat you like family . Hate I’m not in the area more.

Old school type diner with a large menu. The owner and staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. I enjoyed my burger and fries. My wife liked her club sandwich. We'll eat here again.

My boys and I were staying at an airbnb close by and were looking for a good breakfast spot. I looked online and found Scotts. I have to say, the reviews were spot on. The food was great, the staff was so personable, and it was reasonably priced. We ended up going there all three mornings of our stay. I explained to my boys Scott and his staff epitomized the concept of a locally owned business who provide excellent customer service. We didn't come back each day because of how the place it decorated, it was the food and the personality of the staff. Scott and the staff treated you like family. It was a great experience. Highly recommend!

Scott's Koneys is maybe one of my favorite Birmingham best kept secrets!!! This is a place where customers are valued and remembered. Always greeted when you walk in, usually by Scott himself. It's the kind of place where you will feel known. No phones allowed while ordering and you just yell your order to the kitchen crew. Whenever I'm there, there is always the greatest mix of people. Healthcare workers. Construction workers. Suit and tie people. The patrons run the gamut and that's how you know a place is a true gem!! Perfect place for a burger and fries. They have daily specials too. Their breakfast sandwiches are also amazing but honestly I pretty much ALWAYS get the philly cheesesteak meal. And then I take it and sit at the community tables. It's no frills but everything you want in a lunch spot. My go-to whenever I'm downtown during the week. My only wish would be that they're open 7 days a week!!! ?
