While they didn't have what I was looking for they were willing to look and see if they could get it for me. Above and beyond what many other stores may do (or have the ability to do) and I appreciate that!

I want to start by saying great seafood however very poor business practices when not open during normal business hours. I understand family own but customers comes first and you are not operating on a street corner. Get it together!

We picked up some head-on shrimp to fry this afternoon and the shrimp was so fresh, I had to leave a review. The shrimp was just as fresh (or more) than what you would find at a market on the coast. Clear, no odor, good price point. The service was top notch friendly. Keep up the great work Sexton's!
Usually pretty great service and they have a veterans discount. I wish they had more USA selections.

Sexton's has yet to miss! Picked up some lovely salmon for a one pan orzo dish I made. The fish was outstanding. Very fresh. As always, service was friendly. I love that they're always happy to remove skin or give a helpful cooking suggestion. Shop is always clean & organized. This is the place for fresh fish in Birmingham. Will be back again.

We stopped by on Saturday to grab a couple of things for a seafood boil for a birthday party. The staff greeted us immediately and they were upbeat throughout the entire process. The shrimp and mussels that we purchased were of great quality and the price point was reasonable. Parking can be a pain, but that is the only complaint and they can't do anything about it.
