I placed an order for more than 60.00. When my food was delivered to me my catfish was broke up in pieces and burnt, hush puppies were burnt and tasted like old grease. My shrimp were all overcooked and some burnt. It was a rubbery mess. There were no plastic silverware for 3 orders. Also I paid for extra tartar sauce and did not get it. I don’t know if they thought that since no one can enter the store due covid virus that they can just serve you anything. If I had been in the restaurant I’d have sent that back. So I was left hungry at work

Went for the all you can eat popcorn shrimp on a Sunday. The food was nice and hot, the waitress was super nice. I would give 5stars but I took one away for cleanliness. The rug where we were sitting were full of crumbs which was an eye sore and it was definitely time for a deep spring cleaning. We came 30 minutes after opening and they were only half full so no excuse for a dirty rug full of crumbs lying there. That should have been swept off. other than that everything else was great.

Today was my first visit to this place. The catfish and fries were hot and fresh. The server was very nice and did not rush. The other customers in the place were all friendly and nice. It was a very pleasant and relaxing environment. I recommend this particular location to anyone who lives or like me traveling to Birmingham and looking to eat some very good seafood.

I sent my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are fantastic and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we have a pleasant evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

I got grilled fish and shrimp. There were 2 pieces of fish about 2" long, looking like fish sticks, & 5 shrimp. I thought I had a kids meal. But hey I got plenty of grits. Sad for what I spent.

I visit this marvelous restaurant every couple of days since I like the good air that is unique to this place. The crew is exceptionally attentive and well trained. The service is absolutely efficient. Most important, the food you get is great. I ate there many times and I was always satisfied. The rate is honest. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

We had dinner tonight and Alesha was so wonderful and helpful. She is very efficient and attentive to our needs. We appreciate her kindness. Thank you for your assistance.

not worth the price. Cheese grits should come off the menu, texture and taste is of instant grits with cheese powder added. $15.99 for over cooked crab claws as an appetizer........ $14.99 for 3 thin crab patties over strips of lettuce $15.99 for a fried seafood platter, with all ingredients being over cooked and greasy. it's like Captain Ds at three times the price.

We all had our orders delivered in a timely manner and they were just perfect. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I had the coconut shrimp, it is the best around. My sister and another had the crab cakes which they both loved. My other friend had the grilled shrimp, I don't think she left any on her plate. Thank you Shrimp basket for a delicious meal and excellent service.

Clean location, very friendly employees. Food was hot and fresh. I can see why some people think that it is pricey. We both did the "All you can eat steamed shrimp" for $15.99 and I feel like I got my money's worth.

Great service, friendly staff. Never had a bad experience, almost always greeted at our table to inquire how everything was!!

We went there after being at the hospital all evening, it was around 530 when we arrived...no one wanted to seat us, then the tables were nasty, they weren’t that busy...the shrimp was tough, my mom and I neither one could chew it, it was like rubber, the calamari looked like leather and the breading fell off, the hush puppies were burnt and raw on the inside...waitstaff was helpful but wouldn’t come check on us but 2 times...I won’t be back for awhile

The food was good. The server was very nice and polite. I think her name is Alesha. She keep the food coming. I would visit this location, again. Crestwood! I think that would be Irondale, if I'm not mistaken.

I would have rated this place as a 3 star if it provided decent food at a decent price. But the raw oysters, steamed shrimp and some sides were better than expected. I'd give it 5 stars if the meal were free. So the place is nothing fancy and very plain. Almost like a local dive - that is not a dig. It is comfortable and has decent (unusual) food. Could not get to our normal oyster house (Fish Market on Hwy 280 Bham) and found this place. Had oysters on the half shell. They were good, slightly briny, and almost plump at a decent price for a dozen - 14 bucks. Then had steamed shrimp platter. They were good but could have used more "Old Bay." Melted butter and cocktail sauce went well. Their shrimp slaw is unique and worth having. My date loved the turnip greens and I enjoyed sweet potato fries.
