The bartenders and staff treated me as if I was both handsome and made of money. I am neither of those things! You won't find a friendlier nicer bartender than the ones at Sidebar.
It seemed to be a decent place that I would have enjoyed more when I drank more. It had an inside and outside bar always nice. Volleyball pit with supersized beer pong. New to me but seemed fun. Inside a dancefloor, but I already have hearing issues from the military not my cup of tea. They also had a police presence, which in these days is a nice touch given my experience with drunks both personal and observational. I can't comment on the prices.
Sidebar is one of my favorite bars in Birmingham. It's a great nightlife spot in the Lakeview area to go out and have a few drinks and dance to a variety of music from EDM to country. There is a dance floor in the back with a DJ booth and a full service bar. They always have a good DJ playing on the weekends. They also have a full volleyball court outside which is perfect for the warmer months. The staff is very friendly and they always create a fun vibe. I highly recommend...
