Slice Pizza & Brew Homewood

I think it’s crazy there are bad reviews for this location, it’s our favorite. Ignore the bad reviews and try for yourself! You won’t be disappointed

I want this place to do well, but unfortunately, our experience so far has been such a disappointment. Recently we went with all three of our kids hoping to have an enjoyable night out as a family, and it took over 45 minutes to get just ONE pizza. The craziest part was it was not even that busy. I don’t know if they are understaffed or what the problem is, but in talking with friends, it does not seem that we are the only ones with this experience.

I messed up the order and the staff took care of it and fixed it for me. Excellent service here. The pizza is amazing. A+

This place has gone down bad!!! Disgusting! Workers doing disgusting things, place full of flies. Paid and left a whole pizza on the table. I couldn’t take anymore. Do better! Decent service, tho.

I really want this place to succeed but after 3-4 visits I have to say that it is bad to mediocre at best.

My last visit a couple weeks ago was the final straw. We got the wings and they were practically INEDIBLE. Just awful. Burnt to a complete crisp with zero taste. Might have been the worst wings I’ve ever had in my life. I’m actually regretting not asking for a refund but we did tell the waitress that they were poor. Only reason I ate them was because I was famished.

After all of our visits, I can say that the pizza is just average at best, it is usually too greasy and also burned.

For $70 to feed 2 adults and 2 kids, I expect better.

I would really hope they would step their game up. The pizza was horrible. It was greasy, had little to no sauce, and the pepperoni tasted old. Needless to say the Pizza felt joyless.

Service on the other hand was quick, genuine and accommodating so it was enough to help me give the benefit of the doubt to Slice and maybe try again.

Excellent top notch pizza (BBQ Brisket pizza, Philly pizza) all the way down to the crust, tasty fair price drinks, and excellent service, shout out to Gabby G Lakeview, Highly recommend!

I was so excited to try Slice at this new location and it didn’t disappoint. The pizza and salad were amazing and I can’t wait to go back again. It tasted just like the pizza at the original location in
