Went to Slide today for brunch and ordered to go. While I waited the offered mimosas and the staff were very friendly. The food was absolutely and I will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu.

The kiosk-based service is fantastic and the PB&J slider is a Top 5 sandwich in Birmingham in my opinion. Well-priced, good food. Tastes like it came from a clean kitchen with fresh fryer oil too.

This place was amazing! One of the best burgers i have ever had!! The owner/chef and Angel were so so so nice. I can’t thank them enough. We were driving through from STL to FL and stopped in for a quick lunch with some family. I am so glad we did. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old didn’t like the sauce on the burger (moms fault) so they got us a new bun and then we asked for some hot water to make a bottle and the owner went above and beyond and boiled water for us so it would stay hot for the rest of our car ride! Thank you so much for the amazing food and kind service.

This is a gem. The food is excellent. The flavor isn't overwhelming. The portion size is enough and the price is right. The service is delightful. You have to at least try the food. Slide right into the heart of southside.

The first day service and food was okay but that 2nd and 3rd was not good. My chicken tender was fried to hard and the grease was old. They recooked my order but it was still the same!

Honestly, the food was kinda decent and I like the options you have on the self serve computer system to fix your own order how you'd like it. Also, the music was a great playlist of new and old school hits.... However, my husband and I were not greeted upon entering with 2 workers at the front of the place playing on their phones and chilling around, and neither were we asked if we needed anything out of common courtesy. The food took a while to be served when there was only one couple ahead of my husband and I and we were the only customers in the place. Then to top it off the owner walked in before we left and didn't speak to us when we were the only customers left waiting, and my husband even tried to strike up conversation with her about the restaurant but she wasn't very warm or inviting and kinda short with him. Maybe she was having a bad day or is generally not a conversational person but it definitely didn't make us eager to come back after our experience overall.

The place has excellent food and service. The environment is clean and comfortable. The only recommendation is to offer more soda choices. Such as Diet Pepsi, Diet Coke, or Coke Zero.

The worst burger I ever had for $12,After my son had almost eaten majority of the burger I noticed it was not done. We spent over $50 in this place and the only thing worth paying for is the lemonade and sweet tea. My son liked the fries(they let us know after receiving food that they didn't have ketchup or dipping sauce for fries) He asked the manager for a to go box,he ignored him put his jacket on and walked out the door. So there was no need to complain to the manager I was forced to give them 1 star.

Welcoming environment but not overbearing. I was really excited to try them out and was not disappointed. I had the 2am burger which was amazing. And as a blackberry lover, a Alabama staple for me. I also had the “not just fries,” I think it was called and enjoyed that, especially because of the amount of spinach. For my drink, I had a lemonade which was great leaning a little more on the tart side. Great proportions

Stop eating at boring and bland chain restaurants and head to this new restaurant. It is truly a culinary masterpiece. We had the 6 AM slider, the chicken pesto slider, the 12 hour brisket and the not just fries side. Every bite was amazing. The staff is so warm and friendly and the entire place is sparkling clean! Support local!

As a food enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a culinary masterpiece – a crab cake slider from SLIDE Cafe, at the Pickwick Place in Five Points South. The crab cake slider exceeded my expectations. This slider, which I got wrapped in lettuce (no bun) was nothing short of exceptional. The texture of the crab cake was a symphony of perfection. Each bite revealed a delicate balance of lump crab meat, expertly seasoned with a refreshing remoulade sauce that served as the perfect counterpart. The sauce, with its creamy texture and a subtle kick of horseradish, complemented the crab cakes beautifully without overshadowing their star ingredient.I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a breakfast experience like no other – the 2am and the 6am sliders at SLIDE Cafe. These miniature marvels left a big impression, combining flavor and texture, in a delightful lunchtime treat.Portion control is often a challenge with breakfast sandwiches, but the slider format proved to be the perfect solution. The smaller size allowed me to savor every bite without feeling overly stuffed, making it an ideal choice for those who prefer a lighter morning meal.I highly recommend indulging in this slider extravaganza – your taste buds will thank you.Prepare to embark on a gastronomic journey at SLIDE Cafe, that celebrates the beauty of fresh, ingredients and food made to order, expertly crafted by the fabulously talented, Chef Raquel!Dietary restrictions: They also offer the sliders to be wrapped in lettuce, instead of a bun.
