My coffee is almost always made right when I order from here. However, I do all my ordering from the app, and this location fails to keep their drink and food stock up to date. The store itself is always clean. The service is terrible. The staff is not rude, but they do like to spend a lot of time chit-chatting and looking at their phones - and that's me putting it lightly. Whoever works the mobile order kiosk that notifies customers about the status of their order needs to be re-trained. I just got out from this location after waiting 20+ minutes for a drink I ordered from the app that said it was "ready for pickup" before I arrived. I do not recommend this location at all if you're visiting UAB. If you're a student, this is all we got.

Worst Starbucks ever. Second time I’ve place a mobile order way in advance and still waited over 20 minutes to get my drink. The girl that works there prioritizes people she knows over anyone else. I had to ask about my order after she made at least 5 of people who just walked in. When it was made it was watered down and tasted awful. I ended up throwing it away. 10/10 don’t recommend.

Worst Starbucks EVER!!! I'm scared to even drink it now because After I stood in line waiting for my mobile order for 30 minutes for nothing more than a coffee I had to complain that others were getting their orders that were placed long after mine!!! Also the one gal removed trash then handled food with out washing hands or wearing gloves!!!! Stupid college kids think this great but, I am NOT going to drink this coffee! For fear the staff adulterated it after I complained! NEVER AGAIN! I am THRU with Starbucks!!!

I love the Starbucks in the Hill Center, I mostly come in the mornings. RO and her Staff are everything. They are super nice and fast. S/O to RiRi she makes the best medicine bomb. Which is definitely needed for the cold weather. I get it so much she knows what I'm coming for when she see's my face lol Thanks Ladies and Gents for always making my day ?

A nurse told my girlfriend what ethnicity she couldn't put on her paperwork. Her exact words were " that can't be right " You have to change it". It's a shame we have bigotry and racism amongst individuals who we put trust in with our lives. Slick condescending remarks is totally unprofessional and needs to be investigated. We are watching.

Staff is CONSISTENTLY rude. I’ve received cold food and wrong orders plenty of times and they show no remorse and get attitudes when you ask them to correct your order. They don’t even make the classic Starbucks drinks correctly. This is everyone I know experience as well. I complained to the supervisor and she offered me a free drink but the staff is still rude so I visibly she did nothing to address the issue.

If I could give 20 stars here today, I definitely would!!! To the young man that was working this morning…. You’re incredible!!! I know you thought you were just helping me, but you did so much more!!! You restored my faith in humanity a good bit!!! I’ve been drinking Starbucks for years and never had a hot coffee, until today.Today my young son had his first ever surgery, the day started super early for us. 3am to be exact ? I was dressed like hell (looking like a movie extra for nightmare on elm street) and needed some EXPRESSO LOVE!!So once our son went back for surgery, my husband and I walked over to the Starbucks at the UAB Hill Student Center. I was stuck about what flavor to get and asked for help choosing a good one. What I got was worth so much more!!! This young man paid for my drink and started asking about my baby boy’s surgery!!! He was the most polite young gentleman I’ve seen in a long while and he saw that I needed a boost. He didn’t just boost my mood, but my whole week!!! I’ve had a terrible week this week and that one gesture of kindness, made a world of difference!!!I pray God blesses this young man with all that he deserves in life ❤️?I wish I had gotten his name before I left, he definitely deserves recognition for his service and his love for people!!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!! Your work isn’t going unnoticed friend, and your blessings are DEFINITELY COMING!!!
