We had a pretty good experience at Surf House.

We had the buffalo wings as an appetizer. They were good, but not great. I had the 'spicy' burger, and am still not sure what made it spicier than the other burger on the menu. It was a good burger, but not great. Another person in our party got the turkey burger, and they proclaimed it terrific. Finally, the last person got the regular burger, which, like me, they said was good but not great.

WOW!!!! Abhi has opened the restaurant Surf Hound in Mountain Brook Village. It is located in the former location of Dram & Carrigans. Even though Surf Hound has only been open for a few weeks the 5 of us decided to walk up to the village and try it out. We arrived about 6:30 pm. The place has a fun light vibe and it was packed! Surf Hound has more seating than the previous restaurants. The employees were all VERY friendly and nice. That includes the hostess, the bartender...

Nachos …… probably the worst I’ve ever had! Fish sandwich…. No real taste! The drinks were wonderful!!! Great atmosphere, but the menu as far as a restaurant needs some major help! I’ll try it again …. Maybe in a year. The bartender’s were WONDERFUL! I think this is just more of a drinking place than an eating place.
