We eat out a lot but this is one of the most rudest host and the most pathetic staff we ever encountered! I regret coming to this place despite these amazing restaurant nearby. Please stay awy!

I was disappointed 6.9.25 ordered about 7:30p chicken massaman and super crunch…since we were traveling I warmed the massaman the next day the simmering entree loaded with air bubbles Looking like light brown dishwater I brushed this off as not serious I was wrong whoever the chef was needs to be let go the dish was terrible and the some of the super crunch, insides were more than crunchy (they were really hard) like old mix and new mix was put together…I’m not going back Thai Surin in Trussville is good customer service not so much. Surin West has changed or I caught the wrong chef 🤷🏾♀️

The two staff members I interacted with seemed haughty. Hostess didn’t even look up from her phone when I walked in and acted bothered I’d speak to her. Bartender wasn’t very friendly either.
The basil rolls were okay.

I had not had Surin in a few months and decided to get takeout. I ordered online, arrived a little early, checked in, and barely sat down before it was ready. The owner apologized that I had to wait! I mean, talk about service. When I got home, the food was so fresh and delicious. Surin West is such a gem! Five Stars‼️

Every time I visit here the food, service and atmosphere are great! I’ve come alone, with a friend, with small & very large groups. Each visit was exceptional and I always enjoy my meals and DRINKS. Definitely try the Surin baskets & the spicy beef salad!😉

So, i literally went here bc my ex gf liked it. I'm not even sure what to order. My gf ordered for me. The service has always been great. I can't complain at all about the service. Restaurant is very clean. Its actually very modern design. I'm just not a fan of the food. Personal preferences. I did eat something I just don't know what.

The food is tasty, fresh, and luxurious. The ingredients and cuts are well chosen. The server is attentive and pleasant. Ahh that being said, the price is about 20% too high. It feels as though the tip is baked into the menu price. Even their lunch menu doesn't actually reduce the costs of meals compared to the full menu, it's just less options. The portions don't leave you hungry (if you order an appetizer), but don't expect to be taking home lunch for tomorrow. This is a restaurant where you go for the experience of being in a luxury restaurant.
Go and enjoy yourself at Surin West, but go knowing that's why you're doing it.
