Went for a business dinner with a colleague. I ordered a tofu curry dish. It was a chicken dish, originally, but you can modify nearly any dish with tofu. The meal was delicious and abumndant woith tofu. they did a great job with all of it and the rice and extra, to make sure it was a filling dish.
But the best part, and the reason I'll be coming back for sure, was our waitress Lilli. She was exceptionallly friendly, funny, helpful, and sweet. We liked her so much and had such an entertaining dinner with her. She is a true embassador for the restauarant and an asset. I hope they take good care of her because she takes excellent care of the customer.
She promises to come to visit me, in Florida, when I perform at my first professional rodeo clown opportunity.

Visited this place and ordered Spicy beef noodle and beef noodle soup, it was kind of let down on the flavor of the food, it wasn't spicy and it was too much on the sweet side of the spectrum. Also service provided from our server was virtually none, he brought our food and drinks after that he never came back to our table to check on us, we actually had to go to the front and pay our bills. We will not be coming back to this place.

It takes forever for the staff to acknowledge dashers. They have orders sitting and yet they show no sense of urgency. They have you standing while others are eating and I hate standing over people eating

Good food great atmosphere fantastic service! Their calamari was AWESOME!! That’s my go to app and they definitely did not disappoint! Cooked to perfection! Will say need to add more shrimp literally gave me like 3 small shrimps hahah but over all good food

I don't know much about Thai food, but two dishes at Surin that I know are amazing are the Chicken Masaman and the Thai BBQ Chicken. (I didn't think I had to even mention the coconut soup - it's SO special.... and a cup of it is included with lunch.) Their Spring Rolls are insane, too. The 280 location is just as good, just more crowded (at least when I've gone), so the Southside restaurant feels more relaxed and private. Surin has a full cocktails, wine and beer list, too. The servers have always been excellent, as well.... friendly and polite. We love Surin! (Can you tell!?!?)

Fantastic. Food was delicious, many unique dishes that you can't get elsewhere in the area (that I'm aware of at least), good atmosphere, very attentive staff. The only knock I have to give really is that the staff there need to speak up. It sounded like everyone was half whispering. But will definitely be back.

The food is pretty good, but the owner hates poors, an activist group that i know of asked if they could give the owner some flyers to put out that were advertising giving food to homeless people. The owner went on a tirade about how much he dislikes homeless people, lol, NEVER eating here again.
