This is a small “chain” of restaurants that is based out of Tuscaloosa and this location is the only one not IN Tuscaloosa. Hands down, I’d pick this place over any fast food place locally. I will say, though, if someone is accustomed to Taco Bell as their only frame of reference for fast food tacos- this is for sure not that. First thing to know- it’s messy. No way around it. But that “messy” part is what makes it so good. You expect your ground beef or shredded chicken...

Stopped by for a quick lunch, having seen this spot and wanted to try it.

Jack was at the register when I came in. He was pleasant and helped me decide what to get as I had not tried anything and asked for suggestions. I decided on a small nacho and two hard shell tacos. I ordered a half and half tea to go along with my meal. Cost for the whole meal was 11.13

It's 5 star knowing it's a fast food chain. I find it hard to give any fast food chain a 5 anymore. They are over priced, under served and don't seem to care about their customer or product. I would give this Taco Casa a 5 just for the service I was given, but the food compared to Taco Bell was much better. The pricing is comparable if not slightly cheaper. I just wish we had one closer.
