Terrible bar to go to. Worst service. The bartender was inattentive and rude. The vibe is terrible and I regret ever paying a cover for a stupid bar like this place. The bouncers were rude and pushy and took a cup out of my hand when I was filling up my water cup. The food is shit too

We joined some friends at The Fennec for some drinks and dinner. The food and service were amazing. We really enjoyed the entertainment for the evening. Daniel Bowden was excellent. We enjoyed his music and singing. A great experience. We will be back!

Keep waiting for a better experience before writing a review but after three separate visits it doesn't seem likely to happen. Never quite feel welcome in this space. Friends in attendance each time have also agreed. Bar service is borderline rude both in the early evening and night. Even when it's not busy the staff seems to be reluctant to assist as if inconvenienced. We have always decided to leave in order to find food options elsewhere.

Great food and atmosphere. My husband raved about this place as a bar but it is so much more. The Fennec recently acquired a new Chef and he did not disappoint. We stopped in on a Saturday night and were seated in the Fox Hole Lounge which afforded us the opportunity to hear the live music, pretty good BTW, yet have a conversation. The food was delicious! My husband loved the wings and peppers, I really enjoyed the Winner, Winner chicken dish. Service was great and atmosphere had an old vibe yet was modern in a way.We have been in Birmingham, AL for almost two years and this is was by far the best dining experience we have had. We were so pleased we stopped in for brunch the next day. The Bloody Mary, made with Beckly’s Pickle Vodka (Beckley is a friendly woman who works at the Fennec and who partnered with Redmont Vodka to make a delicious Pickle Vodka ❤️) was so delicious.I have food allergies but the server and kitchen were great and easily accommodated my needs. (Thank you)It is a week later and I am still looking forward to my next visit. ☺️

The service was great. Our waiter was accommodating and friendly. I order the rigatoni and added chicken. The pasta was under cooked and chewy. The tomato sauce had the quality and taste of store bought. It was $26. I was extremely disappointed. I was excited and had high expectations because of a friend's recommendation. I ended up underwhelmed and really wanted the food to meet my expectations based on the recommendation and the price.

This place is beautiful, service was good. Great Live Band & delicious cocktails. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because most of food menu was vegetarian. Not a lot of meat options for us carnivores. I ended up just getting a plain Caesar salad.
This was our first time for Brunch at Fennec and it was awesome!! That atmosphere was so festive with the live music (New Orleans vibe). The food was amazing. We ordered the Beignets as an appetizer and the bananas foster sauce was beyond delicious! I ordered the chicken and waffles and the seasonings were so wonderful! My husband ordered the "Whole Nine Yards" and we both cleaned our plates! The servers were so attentive and worked together to make sure everyone had all that they needed. WE LOVED IT!!!!

A high-quality restaurant for service, food, and drinks. The 2 piece talented live band that night was pure entertainment. Beautiful interior decoration and ambience. Will definitely be back again for more!! ? ? ? ? ?

We were seated way off to the corner in a very high traffic area. They seated us next to a couple who had arrived ½ hour before us and the young lady had ordered the same thing as my wife. This would normally not be an issue however we received our food about 15 minutes before them. Also we had to wait an hour and a half to get our meal. The starter arrived with our meal and we were never offered a second drink. Between the floor staff to the kitchen something was terribly wrong. We seen people get up and leave without ever receiving their food. The front of house had approximately 20 to 30 people waiting for a table, some giving up and exiting prior to their nightmare... I wish we would have stayed home. We spent 130.00 dollars to essentially be held hostage waiting for food. From check-in to exiting we were in this establishment for over 3 hours. Shameful to say the least and on Valentines day. What a joke! We make better meals than what we were served on accident. We received some great attention from a busboy. I actually went out of my way to find him and thank him for his help, thanks again kind sir!Dietary restrictions: Was told we could not deviate from the chefs ingredients unless we had an allergy
