I've been away for 2 years and stopped in for takeout while visiting with Birmingham family.
The chicken pesto dish sounded so great, however the chicken strips were sparse, rubbery & tough 😔

A coworker shared pizza for lunch with my daughter & she was excited about having it again !
It seems she ordered the wrong one because the standard cheese pizza did not stack up against her lunch experience

Sadly we go

Had the Feta dip and an IPA as I waited for a pizza and sandwich to go. Feta cheese dip is definitely worth the price. The bartender was affable, accommodating, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Took home a pizza and sandwich, pizza was the highlight and worth twenty odd dollars. Only disappointment was a sixteen dollar Italian sandwich that was on what looked like a six inch hoagie roll. I understand that costs are rising, but for what I received it was at best worth half of what I paid. Seriously fantastic marinara, worth the visit for the Feta dip and the pizza is in the top ten in Birmingham!

Spent 5 minutes at the door, no one came to ask what I need. I took the menu from the stack, still no one ask me if I want something. Definitely not going back again

Food was mediocre at BEST. Service was good. Our server was great and attentive with a FULL house. They need to do something about the FLIES.

we went to the filling station while we were in the area Friday night and I must say that I enjoyed the food but the service was really really bad. The waitress walked past us several times and just ignored us. When we were done eating and ready to go we had to go and ask for our check.

Pizza was decent. Chicken parm good. Spaghetti ok (acidic sauce but better than some places). Service was lacking with our waitress, but the other staff was helpful and got us the bill and checked out. Overall it's just decent but nothing special.

I got the Margherita pizza slice and absolutely loved it. The tomatoes on top were so juicy and fresh and the pizza slice was so large! Definitely enough for one person as a filling entree. The bread pudding was also delicious.

I heard about the filling station on the radio and we decided to give it a try since we were going to be in Birmingham.

Great food. Service was a little slow. But overall great place to eat.

Honestly I was a little disappointed and confused. The food and service were both good but as I learned, it’s an Italian restaurant that plays country music. There were multiple TV both on the patio and in the restaurant but where I was seated I only had 2 in my viewing area. One was on a petTV channel and the other was on an infomercial station. Outside of the food, nothing about this place really screams Italian food, not the old timey gas pump or the name!
