The fish Market Southside has a delicious big plate of coleslaw and fried green tomatoes. Fish was good but a bit too salty. It was not very expensive.I didn't like where we were sitting at some weird place without windows and wooden walls away from the whole restaurant. It is always a wonderful experience to eat at the fish market. I generally sit at the bar. But there is ample seating in the sunroom and in other areas Customer service is always great and the bartenders are always a barrel of laughs.

My first time at this great place, located directly across the street from UAB's Kirkland Clinic... Very nice laid back atmosphere, friendly efficient waitstaff, delicious fried catfish & jumbo shrimp, Greek potatoes (a lil singed), regular coleslaw, hush puppies, and unsweetened iced tea. Mom had key lime ? that was really good, not too tart. We will definitely be back! ??

Ordered food by phone when i arrived to get my food it wasn't ready because the woman that took my order didn't put it in. The cashier didn't care at all . Poor phone and in person customer service
