It took 45 minutes to get our first drinks (after waiting 30 minutes just to order - while sitting at the bar top) and when we finally did, one of the two was completely diferent than ordered. Took another 15 to get the remake. Total of an hour for first drinks. There where maybe 10 other people in the bar overall. One couple left because they never got service. The atmosphere was awesome and drinks where good. But we didn't go out for date night just to sit for an hour waiting on a drink. All on a Thursday night at 9pm.

Pretty good. They had a "Ragtime" piano player there. Pretty good.

The Marble Ring is a lovely spot. What really makes it incredible is the service provided by Alex. There is no more welcoming and attentive bartender in Birmingham, or anywhere. If you are looking for a memorable experience and the best drinks in town, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

The bartender with the locs caught an attitude with me because I asked him for a drink that I initially asked the other bartender for but never received. I waited for 30-45 mins for my drink. The other bartender completely forgot about my order. I pulled the light switch again and no one ever came over. I had to get up and go to the bar to order a drink. This was my second time here and it sucked.Update: I honestly don’t recall the drinks being this expensive. Got to be the highest drinks in Birmingham. Ice $6/each, ginger ale $2 in mixed drink, $23 for single shot of casamigos, $44 double shot of don julio

Ahh, ha! The owners of this perfect establishment have visited PDT (Please Don't Tell) in the East Village!! The hot dog, the phone booth.....love this! A must-see if you are visiting Birmingham as I was!

We love the Marble Ring! I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for a night out, grabbing drinks before a concert at Avondale Brewing, or those visiting Birmingham for a few days.Alex is our favorite bartender. In fact, he is one of the reasons you should stop by!

Put this on your must do bucket list. Awesome enchanting experience and ambiance. Drinks are for the serious alcohol enthusiasts. Nothing normal or cheap about it. Still a wonderful place you absolutely have to see at least once. Be sure to check out the bathroom wallpaper too. Lol

Very disappointed. I reserved a space for 14 people for my birthday last year a month before the event, and the reservation magically disappeared. The doorman was very rude and a bit condescending. My brother-in-law left a review because he was disappointed as it was all of our first time there. The owner left an e-mail address and asked for my brother-in-law to contact him, but he never followed up with the e-mail. I had hoped to celebrate my graduation their this year if things were resolved, but I guess it was a bust.UPDATE: They replied and asked me to follow up through their site, which I did, and they failed to respond to me as well. They obviously do not care about their customers.

I had a great time. I love the decor, and I love the entryway to the establishment and the method of getting let in. I had the French 75 and the old fashion in both were extremely tasty. Their crawfish dip is really good. Our drinks came out very quickly and they were very kind to answer questions and suggestions.

I love the crawfish dip it's the best. The atmosphere and the people rock. My and my team had a ball we almost got kicked out. Lol

This is a nice place to bring a date or a small group of friends because of the intimate and low light setting. The drinks are a bit pricey as expected but flavorful nonetheless.

Not at all what I thought it would be. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy we sat at the bar and the bar tender was moving so fast making drinks we got splashed everytime. The food menu nothing on there was appealing to me.. smelled like a bunch different alcohols. We sat for 5 min looking over menu and drinks and left. I only wanted to pick up the phone and waitress didn't even give us a chance to do that part. Nothing I will rush back to.. it was decorated like an old house with hardwood floors. Not my cup of tea
