Her cocktail recommendations are spot-on. Whether you know exactly what you want or give her a vague “something balanced, maybe a little funky,” she nails it. I wanted a margarita that wasn’t lime. She said pineapple, I said yes, and one more.
Beyond the drinks, Lauren brings an easy confidence and warmth that elevates the whole experience. Great conversation when you want it, space when you don’t, and flawless timing throughout the night. The Margaret is already a fantastic bar, but bartenders like Lauren are what turn a good spot into a place you want to come back to again and again.

I really tried my best to enjoy the vibe but wasn't feeling it. Saw someone's car get towed as soon as I got there and you had to pay to park or walk. Some patrons were welcoming but on the other hand I wasn't really feeling a vibe. I'm going to try it out again maybe it was that particular night! Wasn't all to pleased with the drink either

Stop saying this place is “New Orleans”… it’s not, at all. It’s like if Post Malone and Riffraff had a baby, and that baby made a cocktail bar. The patrons match the aesthetic as well, take that how you will. Not trying to trash the place but if you went on the reviews you would be misled. Drinks were good and the bartender was friendly. However, in the first five minutes my wife was cat-called and it appeared someone was OD-ing or had been severely over served that was escorted to the back…

Fantastic bar. The staff is incredible and they really do their best to stay on top of everyone. They have all manner of fun events. They also stuck up for the other patrons and excercised their right to refuse service to some jackhole who kept shouting and hassling everyone. Very safe and welcoming environment truly.
Cool bar. One of the only late night spots in this area that is open on Monday's.

First time at The Margaret and I was blown away. The vibe is super cool — kind of this purple, New Orleans feel — but what really stood out was Lauren behind the bar. She was so friendly and welcoming, made great drink recommendations, and just made the whole experience better. You can tell she actually enjoys what she’s doing. I’ll definitely be coming back!
