Went for lunch and was not disappointed. The spicy garlic noodles with beef was sooo good and the egg rolls are excellent. Also tried the chicken nachos…unique and delicious. Definitely worth checking out. The staff was super friendly as well, gave great recommendations.
Came in on a Wednesday night around 7:30. The bar seats was filled up but the dining room was empty. The bar manger, can’t remember her name but she doing her absolute best. She was the only floor worker there and that’s makes no sense. Our food came up and we had to wait for her to finish at the bar to bring our meals. She should not be there by herself and the cooks just looking at us while we are looking at our food. Is there no type of team work in the business. That’s not a good look. She was very apologetic and it was totally not her fault but the owner with staffing. She needs back up. The food was delicious though. I ordered the beef noodle dish. It was kinda sweet and the beef is seasoned so well and tender. Food 8.5/10 service 7/10 she is only one person serving at least 12-15 people by herself. Let’s get her more help and speak with the cooks to lend a helping hand.

Came here for some food and drinks with a friend. Amy, the bartender, took excellent care of us and made the experience awesome. You can’t go wrong with any of their cocktails, and I highly recommend the cheesesteak sandwich and the lettuce wrap appetizer! The food was flavorful and the experience was laidback and friendly! Will definitely be back

My husband and I are big fans of this restaurant! We love to come here with our 1 year old for dinner or just stop in for their happy hour drink specials. My favorites are the chicken pad thai noodles, the hot lemon pepper wings, and the mayor burger!

I've visited The Mayor several times, and the food and service is always excellent! It's a great place to grab a meal for lunch or over the weekend if you're in Lakeview. I especially enjoy the food and drink options. I brought my whole family, and they all loved the experience and still rave about the catfish!

The Mayor Bar has great food, atmosphere, drinks, and most of all it’s very convenient. Fast casual dining is the new wave and The Mayor Bar is at the top of the leaderboard for it. Kudos to yall keep it up.
