I tried this establishment on recommendation from a friend. I actually went during the week for lunch. PARKING is a nightmare, unless you want to park way down below and walk up the hill, not the best if it is raining or hot and humid unfortunately but parking is VERY limited on street front parking. Went inside, greeted and sat at a very crowded aisle table, people actually brush you as they walk by while eating, eweeeeee, not my thing. Anyway, the atmosphere is nothing to brag...
Not the first time we've visited and again it didn't disappoint. The place was packed (for good reason) but the wait wasn't too long and well worth it. We had the gyro sandwich, the gyro lunch special and the chicken lunch special. Each was outstanding. The gyro was meaty with plenty of flavor. The lunch special came with a plethora of meat, rice, Greek salad, and a taste of hummus. Every bite was a pleasure. If you have ever tried it, order the mint tea. So refreshing....
I had lunch in this restaurant. The food was edible. it was freshly prepared. However, the atmosphere is very loud and not very inviting. If you just want to eat something, it's OK, but not for relaxing and enjoying a lunch. price performance is ok
