Best Bar-B-Q EVVAA!! ❣️ I LOVE IT! Very friendly people. It's just a little walk up or drive thru but has been in that spot for some years!Parking: Pork plate chopped, no slaw, with extra fries instead and baked beans is my favorite and they put a bun in the plate. I've known Robert and his family from the time His Mothet and Father opened this restaurant 27/28 yes ago. You won't find a more loving Christ like person in Robert. The staff are his children and nieces. Whether you hey breakfast lunch or a late lunch to take gome.for dinner (the close at 230pm) you will have the best in all areas. My favorite is the Baloney Sammich loaded with toppings and extra mayo. The brisket, baked loaded pots, ribs, and all the other smoked meats are top tier!! Stop by and grab you a plate! You won't be disappointed!!
I love the fact they open early in the morning. The price, quality of service and food…all excellent. Ohhh and they know how to get you in and out! ????

Best breakfast AND lunch in Birmingham. My morning choice is an Egg and cheese on a bun with mayo and a pickle. Add to that another with a piece of ham. This has been my choice since they opened. But I've had everything on the breakfast menu a time or two in the 30 year relationship.. Store is always clean all the way out to the street.Service is great morning or at lunch. The line at lunchtime moves along at a quick pace. Plenty of on street parking in this industrial area of town. The staff is super friendly. The ladies have grown up there.The food is consistently excellent there from visit to visit. The barbecue is tender and flavorful. Doesnt matter which meat you choose it's going to be the best. The sides are top shelf and the fried pies are a favorite. My wife has a serious Jones for them. If I'm there alone I better bring some of everything home including several pies. The barbeque sauce is not over-powering or too hot. It is great on their REAL french fries, too.I've never had anything there that I wouldn't be glad to have again.Great food, great prices, great service. It is nice to be able to treat myself with food from a truly Christian place. Never have I heard bad talk or complaints from or about these people. They are a blessing for the city of Birmingham.

Rude, overpriced, and not that good.Decided to take a chance by trying out something near home. I'm in no way a BBQ concierge of any kind, but I know the bare minimum to know that a pork plate, apple pie, and lemonade shouldn't cost $20. Pork plate tasted pretty dry, and I felt like didn't give you much for the price. The bread for the sandwich tasted stale and should have at least been buttered beforehand. Meanwhile the Apple Pie given to me was stone cold and I'm pretty positive they didn't fry it for me. I'd hope at least the fries would be great, but it tasted of pre-cut frozen fries. The no takeout bag given to me incredibly pissed me off because i basically had to just hold everything and try to not get sauce spilled in my car. I wish to say the saving grace was the service, but not really. I understand everyone was busy but to not give me a bag, give me a frozen pie, and to just act a little rude, makes me not want to come back at all. Idk if this all stemmed from me just "not fitting" with the regular clientele, but I'll make sure to never come back. I hope any owners looking at this can focus on quality and provide proper training if possible.
