Not sure why they aren’t open late night like the others. Really the only time I would get purple onion. Also every time I get a wrap from them they skimp on the meat. Like every time! Definitely not like the original PO which is

I had been afraid to try this new location due to the ratings, but now that I finally got around to it, I have been pleasantly surprised both times. Highly recommend the kafta plate - it was perfect, and plenty of food. The kafta burger is also good, but I found the bun a good bit bigger than the patty. Fries are good too. Tons of vegetarian options. Great addition to the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options: falafel pita, falafel plate, hummus, babaganouj, tabouli, Greek salad (probably can get with falafel), garden burger, shroom burger, various baked potato options, veggie kabob.

Rude workers. Got my order wrong and when I informed them they told me I was wrong. They wouldn’t change my order or give me my money back. They barely understood my order or what I was saying. So they have me what they wanted me to have. I would not recommend!!

I went here for lunch and the food just was not good. I asked for mint tea and I am not sure what I was given. I asked for a replacement beverage and it still was not good. I used to be a huge fan of purple onion but I have not been impressed with the quality of the food lately.Parking: Very convenient.

Service was good only like 2 people working. This was at noon, During the week you’d think it would be busier. There’s only 2 cars in the lot one was mine. I had the gyro roll up combo subbed rice for Fries. rice was ok, the gyro meat was sliced super thin and not very much or had much taste to it. more bread than meat by a lot for the price paid($14.21) it wasn’t worth it. Hoover and Pelham locations are way better. Maybe they need take a few notes from them. Will not return to this location.

Staff was great, but food needs more spice. Seemed a little bland. Chicken Shawarma was good. Fried okra was amazing!

Service, meh. Food, there was more gyro wrap than gyro. Flat, no taste, mint tea tastes like it’s been made for awhile, fries, cold. The only good thing about the fries, at least they didn’t try to “refry” them as if they were fresh. Horrible, the MOST horrible I’ve ever had from any purple onion ANYWHERE!!! I wish I could include a picture. It’s paTHETIC!!!!

Stood inside the restaurant for 15 plus minutes and no one came to the front. 3 patrons waiting inside to order, 2 cars in the drive through, phone ringing off the hook. The one young guy in the very back of the restaurant wouldn't come out and help. Hell he wouldn't even say hello or anything. Very disappointing.
The food isn’t like the one in Homewood. Breaks my heart because it is so close to my job. Try to recruit a better cook. Thx ?

We stopped by for some wings. They evidently cook them after you order them. The wait was not too long and since the wings were still hot when we got home, the short wait was ok. My only complaint is I only got 7 wings out of my 8 wing order. Since we were the only customers there I don't under how they messed my order up. The wings did taste good tho but disappointed

I legitimately have no idea how this place stays in business. I hardly ever see another customer here, there's always a problem like the cook hasn't come in yet and it's noon, the order was given out to someone else, or some other general nonsense. The workers are clueless and I feel like there's just no Management at all.

My wife and I went here tonight. And the outside looks abandoned. The cashier didn’t understand what a 10pc. All flats was. This location is not like the one in homewood or Hoover. SMH sad

I waited a long time for a $15 Greek chicken salad. Only to discover that I was not provided with any cutlery or napkins, and I received nasty brown lettuce and what is the purple stuff on my feta? I didn't notice until after I put dressing on and started digging in. Almost like the few decent lettuce pieces were strategically placed on top. Such a disappointment. I love Purple Onion but I have never had a good experience at this location and will not be back.
