This has been one of my favorite places since moving to Birmingham. The staff has always been sociable and kind, and I love the chalkboard of them drawn as cats. The coffee is always perfect, and the food never disappoints. My favorite is the Bengal and any of the monthly specials!

Red Cat Cafe is a cozy gem with delicious food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The coffee was especially yummy—smooth, rich, and just what I needed. The cafe’s location near Railroad Park offers amazing views that make the experience even better. I loved the industrial decor—it added a unique and interesting vibe to the space. I would absolutely come back again for the coffee, the cozy ambiance, and the perfect park-side setting.

Very tasty but a bit expensive

Chai was extremely bitter and has chunks of cinnamon floating in it. The staff refused to refund it. They tried to remake it and it was still really bitter. Asked for honey and I’m not sure what she gave me but it didn’t help nor tasted like honey. Not happy. I’m disappointed that the staff wasn’t more understanding, nor accommodating. I don’t want to pay for something that doesn’t taste right and I shouldn’t have had to. I won’t be eating at this establishment anymore, unfortunately. They also couldn’t tell me the ingredients in any of their pastries/bread. Super bummed. My son enjoyed his muffin.

The person at the counter seemed very rude and uninterested in serving me, in particular. He didn't understand what i was trying to see and kept saying "no"
Wont be going again sorry

Great spot to grab a hot drink and some wonderful bakery items as well! Literally across the street from the park and just a short walk over to have your favorite drink and sit by the koi ponds!

A cool area in the Big B with a beautiful park across the street. We sat outside... a nice breeze was felt even in a hot stretch. Being from California I'm a bit of a humity whimp but still enjoyed the moment with a friend.

This place is adorable and we enjoyed our visit. The pop tarts are pretty good, and my avocado toast was pretty good too. The staff was friendly and overall, we enjoyed our visit.
