This is my favorite coffee shop to visit when I come downtown! Chill vibes, delicious coffee and kind staff.

They were not friendly. I was trying to get help for my spilled coffee and they ignored me.

Delicious treats and strong coffee drinks. maybe a little bit TOO strong. This coffee was like rocket fuel and needed to be watered down. i've heard that others felt the same.

Love the ambiance of this coffee shop.
Came to try the food on our second visit. We ordered Breakfast Burrito and Breakfast Bowl (with grits 😋). The food was hot and fresh. Delicious cheesy grits with bacon and eggs on top. The burrito was spicy and very tasty.
The coffee was good but the staff was stretched too thin. Barista didn't have enough mugs and was slamming the espresso machine around loudly. Took too long to get drinks
Overall nice visit, but too many other places to visit if this isn't your local hang.

Tucked into Birmingham’s cafĂ© scene, Red Cat Coffee Shop (also known as The Red Cat Coffeehouse) stands out as a warm, inviting spot that earns its devoted following. The location near Railroad Park delivers a relaxed energy—the kind of place you can pop in early or linger over for an hour. ïżŒ

Upon arrival, you’re greeted by minimalist industrial dĂ©cor with feline nods in subtle details—nothing kitschy, just character. The seating is comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor spots, so you can choose your ambiance.

Very good white chocolate latte. I enjoyed the buttery croissant with ham- was very flaky and homemade. The counter workers were polite and helpful when I had questions. It’s very nice that you can sit inside or outside with tables facing Railroad Park for people watching or enjoying being outside.

Love, love, love this spot. They have great coffee, healthy food selection that taste great, and all the good vibes. Their breakfast burrito is one of my favs. They have limited sugar free options, but they at least have the basics - vanilla, caramel and hazelnut.

Great atmosphere and service. The problem was the price. Avocado toast was delicious but $9.75 for ONE piece of toast is highway robbery. When they set it down I thought they were missing the other half! With tax and tip was $13. You cannot ask people to pay $13 for one piece of toast. Smoothies were delicious and priced about same an other places. I’ll go back for drinks only.

I always beg for extra ice in a latte and the barista I had here today made me the perfect latte by that standard. My perfect espresso to milk ratio coming from another barista ❀ espresso and flavors here are always delicious as well and that was certainly true today!
