The service and atmosphere were great! The cocktails were also good. My meal was just okay, though. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was friend way too hard and was VERY salty. The aioli on the bun was literally half a teaspoon & I could barely taste it; so the sandwich just tasted very dry.
Nice, quaint place!!
Kris & Andy were awesome & kind to my husband and I. They were amazing bartenders & servers! The vibes were positive, fun, and the music was cheerful, energetic, & uplifting. A place for all kinds of people. We didnt match most of the people there, yet, we had the best time! Defined, Refined, Elegant, & yet down to earth at the same time. Everyone was cool and having a good time. Lots of laughing. The service is the best!! Such a fun place! It’s like your back beach bar, yet you’re not at the beach. You would swear you were in a different place. Even reminds me of a couple of New York bars. You forget where you are in downtown Birmingham. It’s wild. The food & drinks though— they are the shining star. You HAVE to have the ISLAND NECTAR SHOT. And the OHANA & HONEYCOMB, that has a little bee and honeycomb you can eat. They are the best drinks!!!! And you HAVE to have the SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP. The best one I’ve ever had. And I wasn’t too drunk when I ate it to not know the difference. Lol We also liked the TRUFFLE FRIES too. The only thing that could make this place better would be another bathroom somehow, & the actual beach to be in the background. Lol
It’s a nice vibe but fell a bit flat. Small place with an outside area, which is a few tables around the sidewalk.
We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy. We sat at the bar inside. The waitress/bartender talked crap about a woman who she just served that left. It just left a bad impression.
Service was slow. Had to ask for more drinks. French fries not hot, which we ordered as an appetizer that were brought out with the food.
My husband’s had the pork chops which were delicious and cooked well.
I had the beet salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was dry and the beets were raw, which is odd. Walnuts not toasted and no balsamic glaze.
We visit Birmingham a lot on work but won’t be going back here.
Very nice little restaurant. Quiet enough to have good conversation across a table. I had the pork chop and roast potatoes. The chop was thick and not overcooked. Would definitely go back.
This place is so quaint. The service is personable and food was gorgeous. I will drive again just to eat there again.
Great food, good service, fun atmosphere. They accommodated my gluten free dairy free dietary requirements.
Perhaps it was the time of day but the service was not the best on this visit. Our waitress was not attentive. It took quite a bit of effort and time to receive napkins, flatware, refills, side plates, and to go containers. We would possibly visit again but a different time of day.
Delicious, quality food. Excellent cocktails. Sweetest spot in Lakeview.
This is a hidden gem in Birmingham!!! The Korean bbq wings were some on the best wings I have had in my life. I ordered a raspberry lemon drop martini and my sister ordered a French 75. Both were absolutely amazing. I will be back soon.

Clean, great food, nice environment, good drinks
Came here with a small group last week and was very happy with the overall experience. The dining area is not very big, and most tables and seats at the bar were full. Service was friendly and fast. The server said some customers claim they have the best burger in town, so I had to try it. It was a delicious burger and certainly far above average, and at a reasonable price. I will come back.
I love working here! Here is a photo of our new menu. Come see us!
Food was horrible. Inedible.
AMAZING! Ask the chef for the burger his way! Delicious, kind and wonderful service! Don’t pass this place up!
