I loved this so much! We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely. It's a very classy and a chill atmosphere. Food was great, to say the least. Really great wine list as well!

Great view of town — have gone a few times and love it! Took my mom with some of my girl friends after a show as a night cap and she's still goin on about wanting another Redmont Smash our bartender Robyn made; so yummy!!

I had my 21st birthday at The Roof, the bartenders were amazing. They made sure every guest was taken care of and made my night so great. The view was beautiful and I cannot wait to visit again! I have never written a Google review in my life, but my experience was definitely worth a 5 star review.

Had a great time here. Staff was amazing until this woman!! I would've come back to this hotel, considering we travel a lot, but because of her never again. I can't even begin to explain how me and my daughter were treated for just walking to the snack area to get something to eat. We had already been to the snack area and bought snacks a couple of times. She said to us, "are you guest here? We have a lot of homeless people here". Ummmmm!! $250 for one night??? $200 at the bar!!! $44 a car for valet. IM NOT HOMELESS!!! Picture of us obviously not homeless! This woman was so rude!! Wouldn't talk to me. My daughter said, "I'm her daughter, talk to my mom. You are being rude and disrespectful. Why won't you even look at my mom and talk to her?" She said she will continue to stare at us. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. I'm above and beyond shocked by this and extremely upset. Wow just wow!! We sat at the restaurant bar for the 2 hours prior to this. With all the people going to the roof top bar, why do this to a mother and her daughter staying there at the hotel just getting ANOTHER snack from the snack area that the bartender told us about.

This is the worst hotel. The hotel manager lied about she was after she did not honor a conference rate promised by her sales associate. I drove over 10-hours to present at a conference and had to leave without presenting. This experience cost me money, harmed my startups presentation opportunity. The manager and her desk associate had no compassion and should consider a job change. They certainly did not have a hospitality spirit. Think twice before staying at the Redmont.

I arrived at 1 am and was given a room that was occupied by another guest. I tried to use the room key however, it wasn’t working, as a result, I returned to the front desk to let them know the key wasn’t working. They issued another key that key didn’t work either, but to my surprise, the person occupying the room opened the door and said “how can I help you” the poor woman thought that we were trying to break into her room. After an hour of mishaps, I was issued a room that was tired and rundown. I did not sleep well due to fear that someone could just open the door and walk in to my room because the front desk staff is inadequate, save yourself the headache and just simply stay somewhere else. This place is horrible!!!

We always pick this hotel when we stay in Birmingham, but this trip was not the best. I just wanted to say the waitress, Jackie, at the Harvest breakfast was extremely rude to everyone in the restaurant. At one point she was obviously being aggressive with one man and it made everyone in the restaurant extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast food has also been better in past trips.

Dj was okay, drinks were good, especially the frozen drinks on the roof at night when it's 98 degrees at 12am, heatwave

This is a nice hotel. Being a historical building, it does lack some of the amenities that we have all grown accustomed to. We were a large group with multiple families gathering for a wedding. Had a rocky start but thanks to Chantelle and Terri for their amazing support we ended up having a fantastic time!

Loved the vibe but the drinks were kinda bland and served in plastic glasses. They were a bargain at $10 so that mostly made up for it.

I usually stay here when I go to Birmingham. It’s an historic hotel. Hank Williams spent his last night on earth here. The Redmont has a wonderful staff. I know them by name. The Dining Room is excellent. The downtown location is perfect for most of my business meetings. Plus, a lot of the more interesting fine restaurants are downtown. I enjoy the Redmont.
