Killer Cajun food. Some of the best outside of Nola!

The food was a bit overpriced for its quality and quantity. I had the catfish basket and it was the worse catfish I’ve ever tasted. It was only 2 small pieces, very bland, the breading was flour, and soggy.

They have a handicap parking space but the restaurant is entirely inaccessible to those in a wheelchair. Shame on you!!

Close but not the same as the real deal when it comes to po’boys. The ordering process has room for improvement especially when the lady taking my order is getting impatient because I have questions and there is a line behind me. The man who brought us our food acted like he was scared to sit our plates down. When I thanked him he just walked off. Not sure if it was because we are an interracial couple or it’s just his personality. It was a drizzly day and the outdoor seating kept up covered and protected from the elements. Even the live music continued. I would definitely patronize here again, if only for the live music and outdoor seating.

My wife recently had an overnight procedure at UAB, so we looked up Cajun restaurants in the area and this was the closest to us. I’ve been to NOLA countless times over the years and I’m here to say, every morsel of food we ate at this place was hands down better than anything I’ve ever had in NOLA. I love spicy food and everything was seasoned to perfection. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this hidden gem. Super friendly staff, excellent food and great atmosphere. We live in North AL and I would definitely drive the hour south just to go eat here again. It was absolutely amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Fantastic restaurant for classic Louisiana cuisine. Highly recommend.

Great food and atmosphere but the service could be much better. Not the nicest of waitresses who both handle food orders and drinks. This would be a five star review if the service was a little bit better so I’ve had to lower the score to only 4 stars.

Stopped in last week before a show in the area. Love the Po Boys. It’s a very chill place and next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be stopping by

The food is good. The staff is pleasant. The 1 tarter sauce for my shrimp and fish was not fun. Overall a good experience.

I live in Tuscaloosa but had to go to the Kirklin clinic so my granddaughter bought me lunch. I love seafood so we picked out this place and they did not disappoint the food was hot , fresh and so good. I've got another appointment in November and I'm definitely going back. The table next to us got huge shrimp subs and the man said it was so delicious and I'm assuming the older gentleman with him was his dad , and he replied it was very good but a little expensive and the other man said delicious food like this is worth it and more. Next time I'm trying the gumbo .

Stopped by for N.O. Football game and food. After we ordered gumbo, we were very rudely told no to gumbo. Turns out they only sell hotdogs for football games (seems like a lost opportunity) although regular menu was still showing. Didn’t care about the food but the attitude of the order taker said we probably wont be back. This was my second visit and she was rude the first time too.

Food was amazing! No complaints at all. Recommend the Ferdi Special. The atmosphere was great! Its a hidden little gem especially for those LSU fans! It was a bit pricey in my opinion. $16 for a Po'boy with no sides seems a little pricey. $5 for a side of fries so I expected it to be a little on the large side, but it was pretty average portion. You tip upfront but really only "service" you get is the food being brought out. You have to go in and ask for refills. Still a good place to try :-)
Kid-friendliness: Probably wouldn't bring kids here at night. The younger drinking crowd comes out. Day might be ok.
