This was all delicious! Pretty pricey though for a place that's not full-service dining

Service is amazing! Atmosphere was spunky, very Halloween Cajun restaurant! And I love a good Cajun restaurant, Sooo I thought it was worth a try. Alot of outdoor seating, than inside. But overall food was delicious! And possible may try again. I ordered the catfish Po Boy wasn't impressed.... On the other hand The gumbo was delicious.... My Fiance ordered the surf and turf and that was delicious and the Cajun fries and the banana Pudding we shared and that made me dance a little! So I give it a 4 1/2 only losing that half for my expectation for catfish..??‍♀️But it was a vibe and I'll definitely come back just for that banana praline bread pudding!

yummie!!!!!! very small establishment a little hidden gem in a neighborhood! everything we tried was delicious! gumbo was a little too fresh but after a few hrs when the flavors marinated (my leftovers) it was soo good! both sausages were good chicken&pork! oyster po-boy was amazing! & the sandwich (can't remember the name) was amazing as well. oh & my friend had bread pudding & potato salad as well which she said was delicious we spent about $80 which wasn't bad for all the food we got plus drinks! You won't be disappointed I've been craving both sandwiches every since & that was about 3wks ago! lolParking: not a lot of parking on the street or in their parking lot didn't realize there was a large parking lot behind the building glad I know for my next visit

The host was on top of things, multitasking like she was. I ordered the fried shrimp. The shrimp were fresh, but that batter was so oily, it felt unhealthy to eat. Did not enjoy my first trip here. We think maybe sitting on the patio for a beer would be better next time.

BBQ Shrimp Po Boylarge gulf shrimp + abita beer crustacean butter + rosemary + cracked peppercorns + worcestershireBoudin linkThe po boy was fantastic. The boudin link wasn't my favorite, but there's many ways of making boudin, so someone else might love it.I tried my friend's surf and turf and it was also great.

The Rougaroux – enough said! It's truly an authentic spot in Birmingham for New Orleans cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. They've even expanded with a new location in Mountain Brook Village. The po'boy catfish, red beans and rice, and gumbo are must-tries! I wish I could have indulged more, but that will have to wait until next time.Parking: Free Parking all around but fills up fast for lunch and dinner.

The food is very good (especially the boudin) but I'd love to see a few more entree options on the menu. And the frozen hurricane was $14 which is a little high.
