My wife recently had an overnight procedure at UAB, so we looked up Cajun restaurants in the area and this was the closest to us. I’ve been to NOLA countless times over the years and I’m here to say, every morsel of food we ate at this place was hands down better than anything I’ve ever had in NOLA. 1st time at the new location. Food was ready when we arrived for pick up. We usually get take out here and the food did not disappoint.

Parking: Location busy in a strip center. Luckily my sig other waited in the car while I ran in to pick up food.

Every year for my birthday my family takes me out to the restaurant of my choice. I had heard so many great things about Rougaroux that was my choice this year. We were in for lunch on Saturday and we couldn't have been more impressed. The friendly staff, authentic atmosphere, and phenomenal food made this my favorite birthday yet!!!
