I was impressed immediately upon entering Taqueria Tagoya by the large open dining area and healthfully thoughtful spacing of tables. It wasn’t very much decorated in the dining room but the smiling efficient and effective and friendly service was all in all fantastic and the food was not only frigging delicious it was not expensive especially considering the size and quality being so hot freshly made high quality and authentic . Food was super authentic and NOT a cheese blob like “typical American Mexican”. There was flavor and a choice of normal condiments like cilantro, pickled onions, onions, cucumber & sauces.
They have beer and other “softer” drinks.
Recommended, but not that fancy experience. Way cheaper than a flight to Mexico to get the local vibe.

Been eating at Tafoya for years as well as any and all other Mexican around bham . I would probably say it is the best of any Mexican restraunt . Meat is finely diced with great flavor . Can’t get much better
