When I go to Topgolf, I typically have a great time but last night I was disgusted me and two friends went there to eat and have a good time we went into the restaurant. We waited an hour before anyone even spoke to us then when we stopped a few of the workers one guy with dreads that was working the bar with a red shirt on, he was rude. When I asked did he work there and when I asked him to get us a server he ignored me after several attempts to get an employee to come, Services us savanna a server came to the table after 45 minutes of trying her best to ignore us and several other customers and asked the drink orders but at this point we’re ordering food as well long story short we spent we came in at 9 didn’t leave the restaurant part until 1130 and missed our spot at the golf course. When we asked for the check that took 45 minutes even though it was almost empty in the place. It seem like no manager cared or just wasn’t present the place was being ran by kids and it was horrible.
I really hope corporate reads this. If you are considering having a party here, you should know, they do not make it easy, and with all of the money they charge, you would think they would be more than accommodating. The catering managers, give very little to no communication. We had to reach out to them more than once about questions and even give them a head count...One manager got very defensive and refused to answer any more questions. The day of the event they said we had one hour to set up which is fine, but I asked if they had a cart we could use since it was raining and we had so much stuff to put out in the room and I was told no twice before someone saw we were trying to bring all of this in the rain....We should of had three servers on the party, but we kept having to go to the back room and ask for someone to come out and kept running out of silverware. WE spent a lot of money and this was not at all what we expected. If you want to have a party here, I would really look at different avenues, because we would not do this again. Managers need to step up their game!

Top Golf was a blast! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top tier. Ashton and Terry made the experience extra enjoyable by delivering friendly, fun, and fast customer service! Can’t wait to go back! 10/10!

On Saturday 03/01/2025,
We drove 2 hours from out of state to experience Birmingham and what they had to offer. The highlight was meant to be Top golf.
Upon driving up the location was interesting and the parking lacked luster.
Excited to try something new, then we walked up the stairs. The environment lead to and expectation that the experience would be great. The ladies at the font desk explained the packages well. Once at the register we were given a place similar to lanes at a bowling alley only there are different floors. After using the bathroom post a long drive we sat down.
While waiting for service we looked around for a server. We found one that turned out to be our server. AJ was the person assisting on the bottom floor. Firstly he came to the table before we could open our menus. We asked for a moment and were given as such. When he came back he got our drink and appetizer orders. The first to come out was the queso. It was cold and quickly solidified. But again 2 hrs we drove no snack stops so hunger took priority over taste. We also ordered wings while good those were also on the cold side. There were winds that day. But food shouldn’t come out cold if it’s in a skillet. Also one of our party had the nachos that were a bit passed charred if they were meant to emulate elegance they failed.
A little while time passed I asked the server if there was a long wait on drinks he whispered something and walked away and then came back.
We had our fun. Had a few more drinks I had a margarita it was sweet I ordered a shot of tequila that was recommended by AJ but wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked. Top shelf was the preference.
As far as the actual golfing experience it was fun. We improved as the rounds passed. It was an enjoying time overshadowed by sad service.
Over time I was about to order one more snack and a drink and we were going to golf a bit loner but he brought the tab without us being ready.
This left me ready to leave. We ended up going to do more that left us in a better mood. Will we be back to try again maybe a different location.

After ordering food and drinks, I asked the server for paper napkins. She said they could not give them to customers. She tried to give me cloth napkins. I explained to her why I didn't want them. She proceed to tell me that I could go into the bathroom and get some paper napkins. I told her that's nasty. If I had known they would not give me the napkins, I would not have ordered anything from this location. We were traveling during this visit. I have never been told that I could not get paper napkins in a restaurant. I think this is very wrong especially when the cloth napkin they gave me had food in it. This is not good customer service. Wouldn't waste my time coming back to this location.

I love this Top Golf location - it’s just a unique spot by the overpass and then the football stadium behind. The staff is always really nice here and the food is actually great. The chicken wings are always my go to but the burgers, nachos, and even the flat bread pizzas are all really good.

On January 13, 2025, my niece and I visited Topgolf Birmingham, excited for her first experience at one of these establishments. Having visited the Atlanta location multiple times and experienced excellent hospitality, I came with high expectations. Unfortunately, this visit fell short in several areas.
We played for over an hour, ordered food (which arrived incorrectly due to apparent miscommunication in the kitchen), and paid for our game. During the final minutes of our session, we decided to practice a few hits so my niece could refine her skills, as this was her first time at Topgolf. With about 10 minutes left on the screen, we noticed balls were still dispensing under what we were told was “free play,” which I understand is uncommon after paid time ends.
However, during this time, Clint, the manager, approached us while my niece was hitting her 34th ball and abruptly turned off the game without saying a word. This sudden action left us confused and disappointed by the lack of communication. This marked the second instance of poor communication during our visit, and it greatly impacted our overall experience.
While I’ve enjoyed other Topgolf locations, the hospitality and service at Birmingham left much to be desired. I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.

1st time visiting and we had a good time. Everything was great from a 1st impression standpoint. The staff were very friendly that patty melt burger was sensational. Highly recommend

We were really looking forward to our visit to Topgolf, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The black team lead made us feel rushed throughout our session, and it felt like he was constantly hovering over us. This made it hard to relax and enjoy our time. We understand there are time limits, but the approach felt more like harassment than hospitality. Hoping management can address this so future guests can have a more enjoyable experience.
