Mid at best. I should’ve told them it wasn’t great when they asked was the food ok but I was so hungry and hadn’t ate all day that i just tried to eat it the best i could but ended up just eating the topping off the pizza (bottom of it was hard) and ate my cheese bread salad dressing made my salad taste awful so didn’t eat it. The cheese bread was plain nothing special about it, the Italian dressing for my salad was oil and herbs with a nasty sour bitter taste to it (let customers know it’s not regular Italian dressing so they can not expect what i did ) the deep dish slice i had which i thought would be sausage and pepperoni with spinach and mushrooms because i added extra toppings ended up being just a spinach and mushroom slice with no meat we had to wait a few minutes and didn’t want to wait longer as i was already starving and pregnant so just ate it . My son had a thin crust pizza slice both of our pizzas was hard at the bottom couldn’t cut through it and it got cold just as fast as it landed on the table. I also thought it was odd everything was served on paper plates. Didn’t have a nice get away restaurant feel to it. Felt like we could’ve just ate Pizza Hut or little caesars. On my ticket it said my food was $41 and some change however after paying on the receipt it said i paid $43 and wasn’t informed it would be an extra fee for paying with a debit card. I still left the server $6 cash to be nice i know it isn’t much but geez the food was pricey and nasty. My taste for a good pizza was not fulfilled and i wasted so much money just to not enjoy my food i won’t be back or recommend this place to any of my foodie friends. The staff i will say was a little nice but unorganized 3 different people came to the table.
I would not recommend this place. Don't believe the hype.
Food: The pizza was awful. The crust tasted like cardboard, and the sauce was not good at all.
Service: The service was disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish.
Phone Order: My first call was met with a hang-up. On the second call, the employee had an attitude and required me to pay with a card over the phone, stating they only accept cash in person.
Pick-up: When I arrived, they acted like they couldn't find my order. Then, contradicting what I was told on the phone, they asked if I wanted to pay with cash or card, forcing me to explain that I had already paid.
Overall, I'm baffled by the positive reviews. My experience was horrible, and I will never go back there again.

This is my new favorite pizza place. I love the Chicago vibe near Regions Field (home of the Barons, a Chicago White Sox farm team. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a fresh spinach salad with their house Italian and thin crust pizzas. The pizzas were amazing but I was jealous of the Chicago-style pizza at a nearby table. That will be for my next trip. You can get pizza by the slice as well. Good prices on food that has received state and national recognition. We will be coming back here frequently.

The owner personally brings the pizza to your table. He was very nice and proud of his pizza, as he should be. The pizza and lasagna was so delicious. I especially love the lasagna! Definitely going back!

Pizza was so so I paid 7.50 for a thin slice. My mom paid 10 for a Chicago meat lover slice and it was mediocre at best. Im from NY and have a different thinking of good pizza. Good for Birmingham but not delicious

I grew up going to the original location in Hoover. This branch downtown is even better. Love seeing all the Chicago decorations inside and the pizza is just as good as I remember. Highly recommend the Hawaiian thin crust pizza.

Got a 12 Inch Chicago Style. My first time ever trying Chicago Style Pizza and I don't think I can ever enjoy another type pizza again!
Staff was very friendly and informative and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. When we walked in the stood to greet us with smiles and offered assistance with all of our questions!
I only did a To Go order but I'm sure it's a lovely place to sit down for a meal as well.
An absolute blessing for sure!
