This is craft beer at its finest! Natalie, Matty, and Kattler are so knowledgeable about their different craft specialties. The pillar to post is exceptional perfect for ipa and porter lovers. Many options for everyone. Killer environment with sports on the tvs whats not to love!

Good selection of brews, very helpful staff. Lots of tables! Cool place to hang out and talk or play some board games. Love that it is dog friendly. Downfall? People not controlling their dogs. One was off leash running all over. One barked constantly at everyone.

Trimtab is by far my favorite brewery in Birmingham. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, but their dedication to nonstop creativity and innovation with their brewing is what keeps us coming back. Best beer in town.

First time there this weekend. Plenty of outdoor seating with large tables. Inside is very bright and clean with some merchandise on shelves available to purchase (shirts and stuff).
There is a long bar right there in the front inside with a large menu of different craft beer choices. They offer samples for you to try before deciding, which is awesome. Through glass double doors on the left of the bar is a large open warehouse area with a bunch of tables and chairs around the side and a big open area for people to stand. There is a stage to the back with lights and sound for Bands to play on. The rest of the warehouse roped off is where they store all the inventory.
It has a very literal industrial feel. The walls are all concrete and metal, which is actually kinda terrible for the acoustics of the music. I feel like better baffling could be installed to help with that. It has an air of being in someone's Huge garage watching bands with their sound bouncing and reverberating off the walls.
Very severe and raw environment to see and enjoy bands in. Sorry, but not sorry.
Has to be total Hell for soundmen. Because of the Huge space, it really lacks for a personal warm feel. It's kinda like the whole music thing was an afterthought? I mean "Let's just put a low stage in our Huge warehouse where we store our product and let bands play"
Much could be done to help that. Sound baffling on the walls and very high ceiling and maybe several very large rugs on the floor to absorb some of that reverb?
Very nice staff and great tasting beers though.
