Uncle Sam's is a good place to eat inside or get your food to go. When I don't feel like cooking it's my go to place. The service is great and a very friendly atmosphere. I always get the lemon ice box pie for my dessert, if you try it you would get hooked. The drive through window moves very quickly as well.

3/13/2024 - ordered a slab of ribs ($24.95) and a drink ($2.25) with half served to eat inhouse and other half to be taken home. Order was written up as 2 half slabs at $15.25 a piece... caught it at the register and the guy said he couldn't change the way it was written up, even though I mentioned it before he ran my card -- so I was overcharged $5. Mentioned it to the order taker and she said that's the way they write it up if it's a split order. I asked how it would have been handled if I ordered a slab and then asked for a go-box, and she said I would have been charged $24.95. Was not going to bitch about it, but as I sat here eating, it started irritating me because the ribs were not great, well, they really were not even average... stringy and not very flavorful. It should have been handled differently, and will not be back.

It was my first time visiting and it was pretty good the staff were very friendly.I ordered the chicken & rib plate with fries & baked beans everything was seasoned well except the ribs.I asked the cashier who cooked it she replied that the regular cook wasn't there today.
