Best place to go play barefoot water polo in the south east. The corn dog on the menu is crazy good. 10/10 check out the back porch in the area where the secret entrance to the five points underground is. There was a dark brotherhood application for anyone looking to join that Organization on one of the back pool tables.
Smells like a million buckets of piss, security is not that great they don’t respond to any fights accordingly. The door guy with brown hair is not the brightest person to be working at the door.
Best claw game in Birmingham if you’re a fan of ducks

If you’re looking for actual crackheads, this is the place. It’s dirty and everyone is on drugs.

Bad place altogether. Used to be a cool place to hang out. Owners and employees were ignorant. I tried to start a friendly conversation with the door guy and he redponded with very ignorant and hateful comment. You’re supposed to be nice to customers.
Didn't even get in the door! The Security Guy that sits at a desk told me immediately that I had to leave The Upside Down Plaza. This Guy Blatantly Violated Tha Americans With Disabilities Act & didn't care! Those were his exact words, "I Don't Care" what you say, or who you call...You cannot enter with the dog! I tried to explain to him that "the dog", as he put it, was indeed My Service Dog because I'm Disabled & My Service Dog Buddy Shepherd, by Law has the Rights to go anywhere that another person is allowed to go inside of a business, whether it's Public or Private, under "The Americans With Disabilities Act" of 1991. It's signed by President George H. W. Bush. I told him that I was going to contact an Advocate on Washington, D.C. & File a Complaint against"Upside Down Plaza" because of His Violaton of Refusing My Service Dog Legal Entry. We will see "Upside Down Plaza", Who is Right and Who is Wrong!!! I already know the answer! You are! I had to give you a 1 Star Rating, but I would have given you aNegative ?- ?-? because you should learn the Law and The Rights People Have. You are not God, and your Employees should be taught better. Y'all can Kiss My Grits!

It's either 5 or 1 star depending on the night.
This bar doesn't care about its patrons. I was assaulted by some drunk nitwit and he was escorted out for his safety before I could get his identity. It's not a safe place.
It's either 5 or 1 star depending on the night.

Was harassed by people here, told the security, they put me out saying the people were bartenders, then was attacked outside by the very same people right out front after being put out. Can’t help but think it’s because I’m black and they were white
The dive bar of all dive bars.
Pretty dope spot, $5 membership fee, pool tables. The bartender was on top of everything.

A nice basement bar hidden away in Five Points. A game of pool will only cost you a dollar in quarters. The bartenders are pretty attentive and will get to you quickly. If you forget to bring quarters, they can hook you up. I just want to know how to play whatever game that weird tiny pool table is.
Never been to a dive bar, but if they're anything like this place then I'm sold. The Upside Down Plaza has it all -- pool tables, a pinball machine, a vending machine, and cheap drinks of course. The bartender was very friendly and helped me pick out some good beverages as a new drinker. Met a few interesting folks while I was there with some friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Watch your step going down and ESPECIALLY as you go back up.
