The dip trio was the best part of the meal. The shrimp tacos were marginal at best. The service was slow. Significantly affecting my review is the fact that my card was overcharged by $70. I could not get any response from the restaurant on this, so I had to file a claim with my credit card. Very frustrating experience.

Somehow a chicken quesadilla, guac, and 2 lime margs that tasted like pineapple juice was $75. Kinda wild.

Decided to go here for a late lunch early dinner while staying at the Westin Hotel. I had the Taco Platter and it was awesome!!! Very good temperature and great taste to each and every taco. The side of rice was also very good. The three employees I interacted with were all very friendly. Good greetings and goodbyes. I'll be back next time I stay here.

This restaurant was just amazing, came here on a high-school trip and stopped to eat. Our waitress Alex was absolutely amazing. She made sure to get all of our orders right and even talked to us about what we plan to go to college for. She made sure we had everything we needed and refilled when it was needed! Personally this lady needs a raise.

Our server was Alexandria! She was extremely kind and professional and our drinks were never empty. We came on our school trip and she made us feel very welcome and connected with us personally. 10/10 service and food. 100% would come again

While at a conference near by, my friend went in to Uptown Cantina for lunch. She was seated and after more than 10 minutes had not been approached by anyone again. She politely asked a server and that server stated the server for her table had been sent home. My friend asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over. Bryan was the Managers name. He told her he had to send the server home. She asked why someone had not taken her order or anything. His reply was to tell her to leave the restaurant. I don’t know if it was racial or not but my friend is black. She is one of the kindest people and this was not right. When I went to ask for an explanation I spoke to a Manager named David. He was pretty rude and did not want to offer any help only to say he had Just come into work and Bryan was in the kitchen. I understand being busy but busy is never an excuse to be rude and definitely not an excuse to outright mistreat someone because of what they look like. Again, my friend simply asked why she had waited for so long without anyone taking her order. She left the restaurant without saying anything else once he was so rude. She didn’t want to cause issues. It is so sad to know someone like this guy is managing this restaurant.
Food looked delicious on the menu but was mid at best. Seasoned fries were just lukewarm fast food fries with black pepper tossed on. Fajitas were bland, with steak being gray in the middle, and maybe 4 shrimp and a few slices of steak for 30$. It was supposed to have crema and guacamole etc and looked like something you would get at Taco Bell on a supreme taco. I had a Cuban panini and it was pretty good(mojo sauce was great but like liquid there was so much lime juice), but the ham was like the thin sliced cheap stuff you get from a plastic tub and fairly dry at the edges because it doesn't take much to overcook it when heating it up. Kids had chicken fingers which looked good and the chicken sandwich, which also looked good. Salsa and chips were great as they were fresh and tasted authentic(even though our basket sat empty for a little bit, our waitress did bring us more after I asked, even though she had been by the table a couple of times and seen it was empty). The drinks were good as well. I had a Paloma and partner had a draft Dos Equis Amber and it was good. Service was great for the most part. It just felt like a watered down version of what was on the menu. If it would have matched the written description it would have been amazing, I think. Bill was 160$ for 2 kid's meals and 3 adult meals, a charge for chips and salsa, 2 beers and a cocktail, and 4 soft drinks plus tip. Might give it another chance down the road but wasn't really up to the value for the end price tonight. Also, we parked on the street and entered through a door and we saw the bar and counter with phone and menus that had a man taking orderes. We walked up because no one greeted us and there were no signs about seating etc. We stood there for maybe 5 mins and the man, who clearly saw us walk in, didn't say one word but kept himself busy behind the counter and hanging customers food orders and drinks etc. So we finally found a waitress walking around our way who pointed us to the hostess station on the other side of the restaurant. The person there also had looked over at us standing at the counter a few times but could have motioned to us to come his way or even walked over to us since there was no one else in the waiting area on that side. We got a table about 5 mins later after he asked us to give them about 15 mins. It wasn't very busy, maybe 40% full.
