One of VERY few places in Birmingham that offers great live entertainment, good drinks, a mature environment and the safety of Uptown. This is a great place to hang out before or after events at the BJCC or the new stadium (three minute walk). Average age is about 40 which is perfect, nothing but good vibes in this place, highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for someplace to wind down our Anniversary weekend. I did a Google search for Sunday entertainment in Downtown Birmingham and Upotown Jazz Lounge was listed first. We were met at the door with a warm welcome by one of the proprietors. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is rated par excellence. Best thing happening in Uptown Birmingham!
